I'm sure I heard on one of the pods that Wilson was not even warming up with the keepers at Plymouth away (can anyone confirm?) so maybe he is more injured than we are being told and is travelling with the team as support rather than to play? I would prefer Collins to someone who hasn't even had 1 first team fixture under their belt at championship level.

If he was not fit enough to play and was only travelling for support then Bell would be on the bench.

He was warming up on the touchline during a recent match (can’t remember which one), so he’s definitely fit enough to play.

It was away at Sheff Utd. The idea that he’s injured or not able to play is just a myth started on here.

Ah yes because you've been so kind in your criticism of Dasilva, and plenty more in the past (Palmer, Biamou to name a few).

I haven’t said I personally hate them. Or want someone to end his career in training.

He was warming up at Plymouth. Collins was stretching and I thought could’ve been looking for a way out but to his credit he played on

There's no way he's on the bench week in, week out if he's not fit enough to play. What happens if he needs to go on in the 1st minute?

Not buying that Wilson wouldn't be able to cope mentally either. He's been a backup for the vast majority of his career so coming in after not playing isn't going to be a big deal for him and he's not appeared to fall apart mentally when he's made a mistake in the past.

I'll give you that his distribution isn't the best but that's not impossible to work around and surely its better to have someone in goal that might actually make a save. Plus he's got a better goalscoring record than Collins!

Ok so you haven't specifically used the word 'hate' but you've spent years calling them every name under the sun.

There's no difference (well, except you're always right and everyone else is always wrong of course).
We can add Brad Collins to the list of people G will clutch his pearls over while still refusing to have one decent thing to say about a manager he wanted sacked every season.

It's also strange how people who magically appear like the shop keeper out of Mr. Benn every time someone criticises King or Lampard never defended the manager who saved the club with the same enthusiasm throughout his time here.

It’s the price that comes from playing the contrarian to the extent he does it-still not being able to admit MR did a good job.

Simms/Tats/ Kitching/Grimes/Latibeaudiere sat down doing nothing for last 10 mins.

Have a feeling that they are managing workloads.

This is probably a bit of an inconvenience to Lampard - can't do any shape/patterns of play.

Although, I have a feeling they may train later - and this is a bit of a show.

I’ve said he needs replacing - if he isn’t though it’s the one position on the pitch there is zero hiding from.

Only on SBT could the phrase - appearing like the shopkeeper out of Mr. Benn be used so well. I for one encourage much more use of popular childrens TV shows from the 70's and 80's. to criticise players and other fans.

Collins was definitely doing a Bagpuss for at least one of those goals against Plymouth.

Did he run around
No. Only appeared at the end to sign autographs.
As did Bassette/Wright/MVE/Collins.
MVE "has a knock" according to FL - as he said that, he held his hamstring l!

In hindsight - wouldn't read too much into all this.

Pretty sure they will train this afternoon.

All of Simms/Saka/Grimes/Kitching/Latibeaudiere did the warm up and that was pretty much it.

As I said, in something like this in this open environment, you can't really show your hand too much with regards to shape/patterns etc.

Did you see anyone in a straw boater peeping through eye holes in a newspaper?

Recovery/treatment session for most who played the full 90 from what I saw, or who didn’t but will be nailed on starters Saturday - so Simms as an example.

anyone not involved or did less than that (so subs off bench or subbed) did a fuller session.
they wouldn’t have trained yesterday I wouldn’t have thought especially after the travel.
