None of those goals get conceded by Dovin. To have the worst keeper in the league conceding half the shots on goal he faces, the opposition gameplan writes itself.
The opposition doesn’t plan on taking shots on goal when we’re playing Dovin?

Get a grip and back the team - we are in the best position of any team currently chasing the playoffs.

I put this in another thread, but I'm stuck in Hitchin for the day and would much rather be at the game.

If anybody has a last-minute spare, drop me a message, and I can be there in 20 to collect.

I said the same V Plymouth, if we match their desire our better players win us the game.
It's not just that. We just don't have a team of scrappers; that's not what it's been built to do.

Robins' teams (and this is still a Robins team) have always been able to be bullied. Without Thomas in the backline, that's accentuated, too.

Let’s see if that is still the case at 5 pm. If you know the keeper lets in half the shots he faces, you get your team to shoot on sight as opposed to a more indirect route to goal.

If the back line is going to be makeshift no matter what, I can see the logic in not making an unforced change in goalkeeper.

You'd have to bring on Burroughs. It's really poor recruitment as it's been clear for 2 years we have no cover at RB/RWB.

Lati is supposed to be a RB and CB. I touched on it in preseason, it’s fine that he can cover both positions until we have MVE and a CB injured…

5-3-2 just isn’t viable and playing Eccles and Burroughs over Sakamoto shouldn’t appeal to anyone.

Saka at RB would get torn to shreds
I think his pace and tenacity would do him well, and his engine to overlap. We are hardly blessed with marauding 6 foot wing backs

Well youd switch to a back 4.

Exactly, so why bother playing 5-3-2 in the first place when your RWB is not in their natural position and you take off a top goal contributor to facilitate that.

Square pegs in round holes and all that. It isn’t worth the experiment at this stage of the season in a game this important.

Eccles played very well at RWB previously, how are we taking off our top goal contributor? You play a 3 of Sheaf, Rudoni and Grimes in the middle?
