MVE a real loss. Played every single game so far so it’s been a blessing he’s stayed as fit as he has. Hopefully back for Middlesbrough.

Collins starting…. I truly wish he has a cracker of a game. Albeit his performances have been below standard I hope we all give him a cheer today and give him the support he needs. I’d expect them to be drilled to shoot on site. With that decision is makes me feel that we will continue with 4-3-3 and try and stifle possession.

Collins getting criticism but let’s not forget, there’s a few players that are due a good performance, Sakamoto, Simms and Wright. Come on lads let’s bring it, I’m convinced Norwich will win today too!

Well ferguson changed his first choice keeper for les sealey in a cup final replay because his other keeper kept making mistakes

They won and he made several good saves
OK?

Lampard has already shown this season he’s prepared to drop a keeper if he has an alternative he trusts.

In think Dovin was getting pelters early days too wasn't he.

I'd really switch it up reverting to a 5 at the back. Luton are similar to Plymouth in that they play a block with 5 at the back, big physical players that will be a handful. The whole point of switching to a 4-3-3 (or variation) is to accommodate and focus on our good wing play, Sakamoto has been quiet the last few, no EMC, Wright looked better through the middle (when he gets service). So here's my bid.... Wilson in goal (protecting Collins) - back 5 to help deal with the physicality and quick counter breaks with Sakamoto more hybrid when grimes drops deep, MVE push to his more natural RB position. MVE to provide pace from balls in covering Lati. Simms and Wright feeding off each other. It will be a scrappy and very tight game, I'd be prepped for balls into the box and these two to make a nuisance. I'd be quick to replace Simms with Bassette in second half if its not working.

Wilson

Sakamoto MVE Lati Kitching Dasilva

Grimes Sheaf

Rudoni

Simms Wright
Eccles at right wing-back for me.

This game is starting to feel like a free hit of sorts
I said this yesterday but if millwall win by a couple and we lose by a couple then we could beat Middlesborough and still finish 7th if millwall win their last game. we need a draw minimum to keep it truly in our hands. Mind you if millwall lose its fine

Swansea seem to be doing well recently. No stress

Hoping Norwich are much better and hopefully Wilshire instils a feel good factor as they are talented enough to beat boro

He isn't going to do it, but you start with 352 keep it tight, and then go back to a 433 when the game opens up.

He isn't going to do it so it's a moot point. We'll just play 343 with Grimes playing Centre back for most of the game anyway.

There’s also a risk you get penned in as we had Sheff W and Blackburn (1st half) so it’s not a perfect solution.

But it also hinges on you having your best players in their best positions and having some who has played a handful of games at RWB and no minutes since Feb (?) isn’t a good idea.

We were penned in but we had a decent keeper. Today our best bet is to try and outscore them
