If Binks is a championship centre half then I'm a 14 legged spider worm that lives in the woods and feeds off dead squirrels, lonely dog walkers and dime bars.

I know some will laugh it off as 'trust me bro' but I'd like to think ive enough credit in the bank for people to believe this

Think ive mentioned it before

Robins worst decision this summer by a mile was turning down the opportunity to have Doyle on loan, to sign Binks permanent

100%. Binks for me is the worst of our outfield signings in the past two seasons. 2 million fucking quid.

I agree, he is the worst signing in the past two seasons…in fact probably since we rejoined the championship!

Some players have turned out to be poor signings after we took a punt; Collins, daSilva, Lati. But this useless c**t takes the piss; we actually saw how bad he was last year, had a chance to walk away from the floppy haired twat….and then Robins signed him for a sodding fee that is the best part of £2million!

The goal wasn't Binks fault. Yes he could have adjusted his feet but he has hardly played any minutes of late and then had to face a barrage of attacks. Thought he played well and he is still early 20s. I don't agree he was a bad signing.

Rewatch the goal. If Collins is poppadom wrists, then Binks has got poppadom feet…

Between Collins and Binks, it’s a poor goal to concede.

He should of done better having got back to cover Collins's usual fuck up.

Soooo fucking frustrating.
I'm trying to calm down, win next week and we get what we wanted. But slip up and all the good work we've seen under Lampard will be for nothing.

It irritates me when people say ‘it’s 100% ‘Player X’s’ fault because every goal has 2-3 errors that leads up to it.

Collins made a huge unforced error but anyone who’s rewatched the goal cannot tell me that Binks couldn’t have cleared the ball.

Need to get rid of Binks,Collins,Lati,Bidwell,Da Silva and Simms in the summer and recruit better players.
Tbf I'd actually keep Lats, purely for his flexibility, you need a player on the bench that can play in numerous positions.
He's a Jack of all trades and although not a master of any, he can do a job when called upon.

The others can fuck off though 🤣

Binks, Collins, Simms definately need moving on.

The problem Binks will always have is, he isn't playing games. He's below Kitch in the pecking order, now when you bring a player into the fold that hasn't played a run of games, the obvious piss poor/ rusty/lacking generally positional accuracy almost always shows up.

Binks today, other than that piss poor clearance that ended up in the back of the net, Binks played fucking brilliant.

That's coming from me, a massive critic of all 4 of our centre backs, I've said it for over a year I don't belive any of the 4 are good enough, if we want to get promoted.

Binks today played brilliantly, Brad Collins is completely to blame for the goal.

But binks in the past, when he has been given a run in the squad last season and certsin points and early thus season, he has looked weak physically and generally not good enough at the level we want to be at.

What I have noticed tho with Binks and Sheaf, they have both clearly put on some muscle, Binks doesn't look like a skinny, easy to bully centre back anymore.

Without a doubt Simms and Collins both need moving on its not even up for debate.

But where Binks is concerned, I think he will be tough to move on, I can't see many clubs being willing to pay the fee required and the wages he will be earning.

I would be seriously looking at seeing if Binks can do any type of job at left back, you never know, he is surprisingly decent on the ball and his passing and crossing is decent.

I am clutching at straws here, but I'm looking at it from a realistic perspective, I just don't see a club wanting him, we desperately need a centre back that is at the Tanganga level, so the coaching staff need to have a look at him playing on the left, because it's either that or another season sitting on the bench, because I can't see a club wanting him.

The most important thing here is, Simms and Collins being moved on. I can't buy this narrative that it's hard for Simms feeding off scraps, did anyone see Lutons fucking centre half today? Scraps and I tell you he was fucking everywhere, causing problems left and right, and Simms is the same height, same build far more mobile yet does fuck all.

He was lucky not to be sent off today before then. The high challenge he did on the edge of their area while we were attacking was dangerous, he then had a incident a few minutes later where he dived in when all he had to do was stand the player up. He's an accident waiting to happen I'm afraid.

It was a bizarre decision to sign him when he wasn't first choice for the majority of his loan spell.

Simms, Collins and maybe Binks yes.

But as for the rest, totally agree mate, they aren't good enough, but you have witnessed the past 2,3 weeks just how completely fucked up a season can get when you're light on numbers.

Torp, Milan, Mason-Clarke, Bobby, Dovin

All injured, and not forgetting Sheaf, BTA and Eccles all had niggles.

The likes of Wilson is vital for a dressing room, the wages you pay isn't for the player on a Saturday it's for the human being on a Sunday to Frisay.

As for Joel, Bidders, Jay Dasilva for me they are hugely important for the times like today, when everything goes horribly wrong, because when the shit hits the fan you're thankful for having Joel, Bidders filling in.

What we need is to offload Simms, Collins, Asante, Raphael, Tavares and Bassette

If we can get 8 million quid for the lot of those then happy days.

Immediately :
Loan a goalkeeper in.
Sign a Tanganga level centre back.
Sign a left back that will improve us
Sign a striker that isn't 6ft4 no first touch, 5f11, quick, aggressive and someone that knows the league.

And then loan 1 or 2 more in.

I'm convinced we are 3 or 4 away from having a top 3 championship side, if we recruit properly.

If we're going to get into this, how has this happened when we have a performance director,is she still involved, I'm going to say not or not listened too.
It's hardly surprising that one or two who have become unsure of their positions have decided no more jabs etc to see them through.then ample cover even if perceived levels of achievement are below what's expected.

Binks and Kitching at the centre of the defence were under non stop pressure today for an hour from the 12th minute.
Binks deserves full credit for the part he played in that rearguard action.

Yes, he should have sorted his feet out and cleared their goal but responsibility for it rests with Collins for another moment of total goalkeeping madness.

Can only see Binks’ future as a left back. It won’t be with us as it’s not been tried yet, but think it could be a fairly competent solution.

As for today, why try and clear it with your weak foot when it’s not unreasonable you could use your stronger foot?
