Just heard from the Club that 9,500 tickets have already been sold for JPT Crewe game - estimate a gate of 17,000 - 18,000 at that rate.
Come on - we should hit 25,000 at £5 a head surely?

the people that buy now, the more that will encourage undecided people to buy early. say we sold 15k by this tuesday, that will make people panic buy

A lot of people buying theirs today in the ticket office.

Still a couple of weeks to go.

Really think the crowd can act as a 12th man here. Would be great to hear a roaring vociferous Ricoh getting behind the team.

Win these two away games, we'll be looking at 30k IMO

So we sell 9.5k in three days, and the club only expect another 8k to buy tickets over the next 2 weeks?

No wonder the kiosks always run out of stuff whenever the ground gets over half full!

Lets limit the away fans.. push the railwaymen into the corner under the safety box and get our fans behind that goal...... Id be surprised MR hasnt considered/requested this?

The club never said anything, I think you'll find GaryJones who started this thread said it.

I'd imagine that the corner is Crewe's initial allocation, they won't sell it out, so if we sell really well, they may open that up, I only think they would if we were on course for 25k+.

I can't see the club turning fans away and then leaving 5k empty seats in the away end.

If the demand is there then they will let City fans in behind that goal.

is it me or has the club got the priority for Wembley (should we get there) completely wrong.

should go to those who went to the Burton game. Would be massively unfair to anyone who went along then to miss out to people who come along at the last minute just cos we are wembley bound

It's you, how else can they do it, whatever they do someone isn't going to like it.

For the record when Southampton won it in 2010, they took 44,000 fans with them to Wembley

I understand the ticket distribution isn't divided equally, it's based on the respective teams pulling power.

Coventry City average league gate is 10,896
Leyton Orient average league gate is 3,877
Southend Utd average leage gate is 5,121

As you can see Leyton Orient or Southend don't have the biggest of fan bases, so I would expect us to have at least the same allocation as Southampton 44k and maybe even more.

So basically, there will be plenty of tickets to go around.

But we should open it irrespective of away fan allocation... surely the players want to shoot at a goal that has Sky blue fans behind it.. if the fans are truly the 12th man.. why wouldn't you want such an advantage at both ends?

Good point, but, I'd rather we pack one area with CCFC fans so we can make 1, loud noise, rather than fans thinly spread so we make less noise.

What date is it? If it's on a weekend I'd consider travelling up for it that's if is OK with the Sky Blue ultras? Would hate to have a ticket if one of them were to miss out
