Did not like some of the players who were signed previously and so did not play them.

He stated that the likes of Cody and Barton are very good players but are unfortunate as they do not suit his style if play.

Robins was a good manager. Added some quality of his own.

However after those 5 defeats it was a massive challenge.

Our squad is that good it was achievable.
Because of the circus created by TF and Wag's decision to sack Thorn. We were in a false position.

MR looks amazing attracts interest.

They should have sacked thorn at the end of last season and them appointed Robins if they were going to do this.

Robins would likely have had us in the top two.

It would have been expected. So he may not have got head hunted so vigorously

After those 5 straight defeats they certainly weren't.

They then see MR as doing an amazing job turning the club around.

HIndsight isn't the same as seeing into the future you know. It's easy to post quote from TF saying "we back Andy" like it's easy to post quotes from Andy saying "I'll turn this round" or from Robins saying "I love the City, I'm not going anywhere" and "I'm happy here". Yes, fair enough managers come and go, they move on to bigger and better things, but the bitter taste from his "loved up" comments will still rankle with some. I agree with Fisher here, their three-year contract showed faith and intent on someone who'd been out the game for a while and was unemployed.

Well Tim said enough of sacking managers he was going to stick by him and then sacked him three league matches later.

Morale was low, misled by Thorn and his Assistant, MR said he inherited a team 'bereft of confidence', they were also unfit, Fleck, Cody (the 2 main culprits) and others were unfit (hence why we conceded too many goals)

Just come across it now, and it's what I've been saying.

I can't find the the article that said he made promises etc. but it's somewhere on the Telegraph website, anyway, it's a quote from Waggott or Fisher, so it's unlikely people will believe it anyway.

Thorn was at fault, as was his assistant Shaw, the board have done well this season - for a change.

They kept on Thorn he was shit after he was going to be sacked at the end of the season, he did shit and they acted quickly on it, a lose-lose for SISU, because you have you, CJ, Dong and others saying it was harsh, should've given him more time etc, but on the same merits, we give him till Xmas OR 10 games and does shit, you'd have people asking why wasn't he sacked earlier. Past season was hard for him, granted, but he got all he wanted this summer and... Nothing changed, got sacked at the right time before the damage became terminal. He was a reactionary, and reactionaries usually aren't in control.

Shaw was a caretaker, he therefore isn't accountable to the board, it wasn't their fault he was terrible, a league below Thorn, which is saying something.

MR was appointed, by the board, got backed, by the board, he was accountable, to the board, yet, they have got no credit, MR's additions to the squad made it a automatic/champions squad.

How the next man does, the board will be accountable.
