He's not just talking about food and drink. It's parking and sponsorship. It's a huge amount of money. It would include access to revenues for other events as well. It would be millions.

You've got yourself confused again, I never mentioned any specific revenue streams. You keep introducing restrictions no one has mentioned.. when did I say that, I'm sure I didn't, I don't think anyone but you has?

However I do not see what the convention & event streams have to do with CCFC, when did Fisher say that? Its laughable if he did.

Have you ever been involved in negotiations regarding sponsorship? I have and from that perspective what he says makes perfect sense. As you have reached an alternate conclusion your experiences with naming rights and sponsorship must differ considerably. How so?

Such rights should be bought. Why should the Coventry Local Tax Payer give away a resource it owns? I understand CCFC sold those rights for £6M some time ago.

I don't think SISU are genuinely negotiating, let ACL get their court order first. Then maybe we'll see some sense.

CCFC get match day money from all the hospitality, parking (which they buy from ACL and the sell at a profit) and, I believe, pitch-side ads and other sponsorship. The only thing they don't get is ACL's share of the concourse catering, which they've been offered as part of the deal. If they owned their own stadium they'd get all of that plus naming rights and stand sponsorship, but they'd also have to pay for all the (not inconsiderable) maintenance of the stadium and pitch. At the moment ACL carry that. Fisher wants all of the income and none of the costs.

He's legally obliged to top up the escrow account, so he can't get away with saying he's paid that out. They still owe the £1m + back rent, and they won't pay that. Just who I has made compromises, and who has not only not moved at all, but is now moving the goalposts?

You have made these allegations before. You claimed that the club sold the parking rights to a third party.

Please advise who this third part is and more importantly please advise why I pay ACL for my parking.

Maybe you can show me the receipt for parking that says "paid to ACL". When the club offer me a parking season ticket to go with my one for the games, who gets the money?

You're the third party they sell the parking to, along with all the other match day parkers.

You stated the club were given the parking rights but then sold those rights to a third party. You made the claim so who is the company who now own the parking rights?

I have a cheque stub to remind me I paid ACL £189 for parking last June, not sure what they do with it though

Ah well as I guessed you made it up.

Doing the sums based on selling 1500 season tickets at £190 pa and a few pay at gate tickets at £10 a pop (i.e roughly what is stated on the ACL website) it raises about £300,000 income.
That figure of course does not deduct the necessary maintenance, attendance or administraion costs.

Note that is about half the figure Grendel claimed for it in a different thread, he can borrow my abacus if he wants.

I don't think I'll be able to teach him how to research information.

They do NOT get money from the parking at all regardless of what you "believe".

As for the income. Without us there wouldn't be any income. We are ACLs cash cow.

Exactly. The Club don't get it and never has. We've been in Car Park C since the Arena opened and we have always paid a third party and never the Club.

we, as CCFC fans are thoroughly sick of being lied to,
i listened to the TF interview, & though the interviewer failed woefully to press home the need for a real answer, instead of an evasive side manoevre,

You know what they say, 'the truth lies somewhere in the middle', meaning what ACL and SISU say, it's somewhere in the middle. If you believe the camp of careerist politicians, I think you're gullible as is anyone who believes what a politician says in general!

The idea that local councillors of all parties are, to a man (and woman) careerist politicians, is laughable.
Some extreme prejudice is blinding you to reality. Local councillors are, in many cases, local people from all walks of life, with experience and expertise. To tar them all as incompetent, stupid and out to destroy the football club makes your argument null and void. I can therefore ignore what you post in the certain knowledge that you are not being objective or balanced.

No Jack I do not need your abacus.

Let me explain how I arrived at my £800,000 assumption.

2000 tickets at an average of £200 each (range I believe is £189 (Car Park B) ) to £220 (Car Park C)) s0 £400,000

350 per game for an average of 25 games pay on the day. This assumption I have derived on the basis than 15% of the average away attendees buy a ticket and a notional number of home attendees also pay. From a forecast planning perspective this is considerably below the normal 50/50 rule I would apply. This equates to £91,000 revenue

Coach park levy I have not a clue (I would like to know your assumption you have factored in on this one Jack) but for this model I have assumed 8 coaches per game at £100 is £20,000 a season

The conreversial part is other non football parking. I believe as the club is the brand identifier it should receive this revenue. I have assumed 4,000 parking spaces at £10 a ticket for 15 events which is £240,000

The balance of £50,000 is based on 10% of corporate attendees fee as they get a car park ticket.

My catering analysis is straightforward. 11,000 people at an average of £2.75 per person on the basis only 25% of people pay at they pay around £10 each.

That is my analysis. Care to share with the Group yours?

Derek Hatton and Ken Livingston started as local councillors. Do they meet your description?

IMO based on observation most fans don't buy anything at the ground or park there so it would surprise me if these figures are accurate.

Funny because, I've actually spoke to a councillor (have you?) who voted to bail out ACL, she's running as an MP in the next general election, she spoke my class about this stuff, there's definitely careerism here, always in competition, undermining one another, trying to get promotions etc. so don't feed me this bollocks.

Every, and I mean every politician goes for the top job, PM, obvious most wont make it, but you get as far as you can.

Considering you probably have a lack of knowledge in this area, I suggest you don't try and 'school' me on an area I'm fairly confident it.

The councillor was Lynette Kelly.

I never said they were incompetent, stupid and out to destroy CCFC so don't put words in my mouth... However, on the same merit, I'd guess you think SISU set out to deliberately destroy CCFC, equally laughable tbh.

What no one buys any food or drink? So when the council say that the deal to the club is worth a quarter of a million in bevarage revenue that this is a lie. Wow that is some accusation against ACL. Do you have any evidence?

How much tax have you paid you little shit?

About £300 so far, but I'll get it back in April.

Get off your high horse, you were once 18 not paying tax until you've earned a certain amount.

Little shit? Aha, that made me laugh.

I think you put a load of words into my mouth too, there, Taylor. Your posts are full of unfounded assumptions and assertions about other posters' views.
FWIW I have met many politicians down the years, of several parties too. I disagree with some but do not dismiss their public service credentials like you do.
Clearly you hate politicians, OK you are entitled to your opinion but it is ill-informed.
It is interesting that you trust a hedge fund's spokesman but not ANY local councillor. I don't know what the truth is but I know politicians are accountable to the electorate and face prison if they lie or misuse public money. Are SISU? You want the Ricoh handed on a plate to international venture capitalists. It was paid for by the people of Coventry, in the main. SISU have to pay for it or get out. Would you build a house for someone who then refused to pay you rent and demanded you give them the house at a knockdown price?

Really? How much of your personal wealth did you surrender to build the stadium?
