I don't think any kudos are due to one having "doubts" or "suspicions". When SISU came in, they prevented the club from going into administration (and a potentially bleak outcome), put money into signing players, paid a fair wedge to get Coleman as the manager, and so forth. Nobody would have been wrong at that time to say they were doing well.
They may not have turned out to be the best owners in the world, but I do find some of the criticism to be rabid and unwarranted. The way I see it, SISU continue to pay the bills that few others - if anyone - would be willing to pay. This was the case with their predecessors and, in all likelihood, any successor. So I'm just glad to have a club. If the fans regrouped and packed out that stadium, I daresay everybody would win. The polarisation I just do not understand.
