The last PM we had with any backbone , i just hope there is respect shown to the news of her death, despite people having personal dislike of her.
I wont take pleasure and dance for joy that anyone has done, I will however rejoice when the views and policies she had and implemented are eradicated. She allowed her fat cat friends to get richer off the back of the working classes and is the reason many of the Northern Shitholes we visit are quite so shitty.
David Cameron has just written a personal letter to the Thatcher residence.
It starts "I regret to inform you that, due to recent events, you now have too many bedrooms...."

Absolutely brilliant!!!
Sooooooo... I'm not sure how I feel about this other than to say, her timing is absolutely perfect. She willfully waited until Cameron, Osbourne and co had put themselves in a position to become viewed as even more evil than her. Her regime merely served as evidence that mainstream capitalism does not work. Her blinkered 2D view on the world devastated this country.

As strong as Churchill even through he has been described as being a wanker by some.
She was swept to power by the inadequacies of the then Labour Party and the likes of Michael Foot's CND stance etc. She also captured the heart of young people and slightly older by privatising government utilities. The 1970's was embroiled in political turmoil where the unions were too strong (And at the same time were used by companies....For example: strikes at BL were often instigated by the companies through antaganism of the unions and thus meant that people would not be paid). She took on the miners and ruined the fabric of a tight knit community that has never been the same since.
Ahh yes, the POLL TAX. That was controversial as well.
She was also swept back in to power through taking on the Argies in 82.....Just what she needed when she was odds on to lose the next election.
I was swept along by all of this as a young aspirational person and voted conservative. There was no alternative in 79......Then I voted labour because I felt that the cons had gone too far. Little did I know that the country would change again with the influx of Europeans and anyone who could forge a passport.
I am unlikely to vote conservative again but Labour have a leader who is not credible even through the cons are unpopular.
Nobody has left a poorer legacy on this country than the Blairs and Browns who crowed and preached Socialism while lining their pockets on human rights bullshit and pivate consultancy deals and all the while handing 96% of created jobs in 13 years to foreigners whilst the indiginous idle were allowed to claim benefits to their hearts content leaving the nations finances in the toilet. As strong as Churchill even through he has been described as being a wanker by some.

I don't think many working people will be shedding any tears.
