I will still support the club next season regardless (21 Viewers)

As opposed to the smug tone by the fans saying "I've been a season ticket holder for 2148 years and now I'm not going because I care for the club more than my children, I'm THAT good of a fan." ???

I'm not happy with the decision but like I said, I'd support the club if Mugabe was in charge.

Well done for making a stand Archer!
I think the quality of the fanbase might improve as a result of this if all the out-louts stay away as promised!
But I suspect when they find us maybe playing at the Ricoh with a new squad in a couple of weeks, they might change their heads ( I wouldn't say minds!)
and come back with tails between their legs!

A good friend of mine has just flown out to Philly to support an English lad who they know who is playing in the US Open { Pipperell}. He's had 4 season tickets at the City since 1990, not now and never again under SISU. His last words to me were if people continue to feed any money to SISU they will get the fucking football club that the idiots deserve. Make of that what you will !!

I know this makes me an evil human being and probably worse than Hitler amongst Sky Blues Talk but I will still support the team wherever we play and whoever the owners are. Other clubs have been through far tougher times than we have.

You don't pick and choose when you support your football club. You support them through the good times and the bad times.

Like I mentioned in another thread, why was no one protesting or shouting louder when we on form and doing well last season?

I'm sure your hatred of SISU/Fisher/Seppala whoever, will stop you from going to a Play Off Final or JPT Final day out at Wembley if we get there next season?

I'm not happy with SISU, far from it but the hyperbole being spewed on this site by some of my fellow Cov fans is ludicrous and overdramatic.

Support the team, support the players on the pitch. PUSB!

Plus what else am I going to do on a Saturday? Shopping with the Missus? No thanks. :D
Fuck you c**t.

Must admit, I cannot be part of any support for Coventry if they play outside of Coventry.
I am going to go to every away age but none at home if not at the Ricoh.

A new squad?

Are you suggesting and encouraging our owners to go on a rampant spending spree in defiance of ffp?

Also have you seen sisus credit rating?

Why dies the fact that he is flying to America mean his opinion is worth anything? It isn't.

What about the many, many of us who can't go even if we want to?

I simply cannot now go. So I would very much like to applaud Tim Fisher and his cronies for taking my club away from me.

Been going since the late 1960's and now I find I have no club for the next 3 years minimum.

Not a case of choosing when to support your club. They will always be my club but the owners have taken my club away from me.

No surprise really because you've always been an utter c-unit ! Enjoy your half dozen games a season then !

Still object to posters who hurl insults behind a keyboard?

Love a man of principal.

The landscape has just changed!
If ACL have any brains they will now chase SISU with a realistic offer to remain at the RICOH!
Hold your breath!

They both need to use their brains.

I find it ludicrous to consider playing outside Coventry when there is a perfectly good stadium already here!!

I can get to the Ricoh for 2.15. and for 7.15 for midweek games. That's parking at Tesco's and walking straight across to the stadium.

No way I can get to Walsall before kick off.

It is ludricous. Problem us many in here are claiming they won't go if its the Ricoh either.

The trust now need to revert to plan B and start to apply pressure on ACL to offer a better deal then they'd get elsewhere to stay and in particular to drop the not a penny more nonsense if the club does stay.

You must be cracking the Champers whilst 90% of Coventry fans are gutted !

If it makes you happy to decide such things when the evidence is to the contrary then yes, yes I am:facepalm:

What makes me most sad is City fan turning on City fan.

Problem also is that Fisher is hell bent on securing further on and off pitch humiliation if it spites ACL.

I do think these are a small minority Grendel.

I think if we stayed here and had a bit of success on the field then many would come back and do so quite quickly.

30 miles away in Walsall however is quite a different matter.

A new deal needs to be drawn up and it needs to be one that is helpful to the club, not one that stops them from moving forwards.

So carry on treating us like Sh*t and we will still give you our money

Most people will say they won't support the club or the team but they will. Not supporting them will lead to the club not being around anymore

is Walsall (or similar) still around?

SISU don't want to do a deal with ACL. They agreed Heads of Terms on the 400k per year in january, asked them to put it in writing, and then SISU completely changed them. Was as if the meeting didn't happen.
Of course fisher will have you believe something different.

Reasonable business people meet in the middle. 400k down from 1.2m I think is more than reasonable.
