I think the difference here is not so much supporting the entity know as SISU but supporting the entity know as the Sky Blues and finding a way that will achieve that. Owners will come and go. In the immediate term it is clear the football club is dependent on SISU. We need to get them back at the Ricoh. The stadium is council owned....that should change.

Wat the council and Higgs have put into the arena soes not equal its market value. The council put very little into the stadium, Tesco funded the majority. However that does not give the club the divine right to get a large chnk of the equity in the property for free. Why should SISU benefit from something they have not contributed to, the increased debts are mostly due to ineffective management we should not expect the council / ACL to subsidise their incompetency through giving them the stadium or part of for free or on the cheap.

Tesco didn't fund the stadium, they bought an adjacent plot of land the council owned, where the retail park now is & the council used the money they got from selling their land towards building the stadium.

The problem is if ACL manage to swim without us (assuming Sixfields happens) and then use the pitch area for something or someone else then SISU will actually have to build a stadium if we are ever to return to Coventry. I would rate the chances of a new stadium being built as being about as good as my odds of being the sole jackpot winner for this Fridays Euro Millions lottery. Therefore we're likely to be ether be marooned forever somewhere else and/or homeless for the first time certainly in living memory. Not a happy prospect, the clue to where Coventry City Football Club should be playing is in the name.

The reason I Yawned is because MMM like about 100% of supporters don't want to move to Northampton, he doesn't want to see us move into a SISU built Stadium on the edge of the city, yet when it's mentioned SISU want to do a deal to purchase a stake in the Ricoh this is also condemned, where does it end? What does this guy want? I understand no one wants SISU as owners but lets be honest they're going nowhere and we better used to them being around.

I said this earlier but SISU don't have the club at heart like the fans do, the thing is they care about there investment and as much as it pains me to say it they're right to its there business they have to look at maximising its revenue streams and they have to make sacrifices or play hard ball in order for this to happen.

I want the Ricoh to be owned by CCFC 100% and if this is SISU then fine, but that's what needs to happen, it then opens up the avenue of allowing a better offer for the club to come in, in the future if they (SISU) decide to sell and I can't see a reason why this move wouldn't benefit CCFC..

I desperately want to see the club at the Ricoh. More than you can ever imagine. But SISU won't agree to that, or even talks associated with that without preconditions. The signing of the CVA and stadium ownership.

On the latter point, does it matter if SISU achieve ownership and sell on the bundled commodity? Well, it's be better than where we are. But still miles away from a situation I'd be happy with. Why? Because the 'added value' this once in a lifetime sale would generate would go to SISU. Not to the club, the players, the youth set up. It would be removed from the city. Surely, any City fan would yearn fit the worth staying with the latter?

I agree with most of what you say, except having to get used to them being around (will only do that if they become more customer friendly - and can't
understand how no-one at SISU have seen what a massive own goal TF is for them). SISU aside, 100% agree need to be in Cov and own our own stadium. Big worry for me though is if SISU get hold of Ricoh, it becomes a cash cow and club sees nothing of it. Wish I owned a crystal ball.

The reality is we have two options available to us. Sisu own CCFC and play at Northampton or sisu own CCFC and play at the Ricoh.

Staying at the Ricoh will mean ACL and the council significantly compromising from their current position. I am sure for many that pill may be bitter.

Ultimately though, for me the Ricoh is nothing without the football club. It could burn down tomorrow. It is a pointless structure with no benefit to me whatsoever. So I care not for the implications to ACL or the council.

For me this battle has to be won by sisu.

You are letting blind hatred cloud Amy rational thought processes. Remember ACL and the council charged excessive rents as they had the club over a barrel and took full advantage. They have shown no interest in the club at all. We have the worst council owned arrangement in the country. Doncaster, Ipswich, forest, Swansea (check their deal out) all have far better caring councils and Stoke purchased the Brittania for much less than we would be charged. Your zealous defence for a disgusting greedy council exposes you for what you really are. If ACL are liquidated out if this process I will not deny that I will be pleased. They deserve all they get.
