Shit news? It looks as though ACL have offered a very good deal, hopefully too good to turn down to get ccfc at the Ricoh. To me this sounds promising not shit news.

Surely it's the administrator because he's ultimately in control of CCFC Ltd in administration.

But he isn't for them once they're out of administration though.

Wouldn't have thought that an adminsitrator would be able to tie a company in to a 10 year deal himself that will be continuing long after he's gone?

Don't know what the scope of powers for an administrator are to set future policy myself.

OF COURSE its a better deal than Northampton - but its still not a sustainable one without F&B etc or the possibility even of negotiating an agreement over it. Unfortunately this is good news for Coventry City back at the Ricoh but for me I support the NOPM campaign full stop thus it looks like it will be a long time before I'm watching CCFC again. My personal choice but I cannot hand over any more of my hard earned money to SISU.

I think you need to establish your credibility/credentials (newby with a pro-SISU stance, I note - all welcome, but I'm slightly suspicious). If it's a better deal than any previously offered and Tim wants to 'think about it' - how come you know it can't possibly be acceptable. I want our football club to get all that they can re: income- but SISU haven't yet convinced me that if they get their hands on ££££, that it will end up with my football club:thinking about:

I'd be happy to accept the deal on the table with an agreement to planned discussions on the ownership of the Ricoh in the future and building bridges and building up a relationship before any discussions take place.

You would think so Horse. I do firmly believe the FL don't want to rock any boats though, they've screwed up somewhere down the line and are hoping it can be sorted without their blunders becoming public. Having to flex their muscles against SISU will surely open the doors for a legal challenge they don't want.

Surely to condone the move to Northampton sisu have had to make a case that the positions between ACL and sisu were irreconcilable . Well ACL have undercut Sixfields and very likely any other stadium in the Midlands.

If it is only about getting the Ricoh cheap rather than a deal SISU can run the club with then the offer will be rejected.

Agreed, regardless of whoever owns our club, I don't think anyone here would not want CCFC to be able to get the most revenue it can towards the bills and fair play rules.

But IF contracts are in place with compass, ACL etc, then SISU have to accept that or pay the going rate to buy those contracts. They can't just be given away - that really would be a kick in the teeth for the ratepayers (most of which probably don't even like football).

It depends, I was on the March but very vocal on "We want SISU out" thus I was there for 2 reasons. I'm definitely not going to bemoan anybody watching at the Ricoh but for me it's more than that. I said on another post, if you look at the team when SISU took over and spent just a little to improve it I believe we would have been challenging for promotion to the premier League yet we are league 1 club with little or no assets, that is what SISU have done.

I see where you're coming from, I just couldn't really give a fuck about the compass catering, ACL and it's income streams or sisu for that matter. Don't think ratepayers should benefit from the club. The stadium was built for ccfc to play in. Maybe I'm wrong and just being selfish. I'm not arsed, I just want my great club back with every opportunity to prosper.
