yeah fuck coventry city f.c!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Haven't SISU already done that ????????????????????????????????????????????

We are a.c.l say we are a.c.l!

no one is saying fuck Coventry City FC it would be great if they came back to the Ricoh, but why would anyone bend over backwards to help SISU the way they conduct business , a judge has confirmed that they tried to distress ACL and get the Ricoh on the cheap, don't think SISU have CCFC any more a priority in their interests any more than ACL

If I was ACL I would be hard in negotiations now see how SISU like it, SISU were offered £150000 a year on condition of signing CVA and dropping court case ,now CVA hasn't been signed(loosing ACL £590000) and court case has been thrown out I would say to Timmy and Joyless when they come begging ,sorry the price just doubled with 5 years in advance.

Though I understand the sentiment, that doesn't really benefit the football club, does it?

I'd like the rent to be as low as possible myself.

I could never see the grounds for the case. I am no legal eagle by any means but the £14million is a loan at a cheaper rate than the Yorkshire Loan, so it is a win win situation ACL save money and in time ccc earn money and this is allowed by central Government.
If sisu do appeal it will be interesting on what grounds.

I think it has to be on points of law, ie that the Judge has overlooked some aspect of relevant legislation. Given the publicity locally that I am sure would have been brought to his attention, I would expect that he will have ensured that all i's have been dotted and t's crossed.

Additionally, the statement released by CCC is made by both parties so this shows that the whole council is united in their opposition to these asset strippers.

Doubt it means anything has changed in respect of us returning to the Ricoh. I await the next ridiculous Fisher statement.

It is going to be interesting what Fishtwat is going to say. Properly blame the judge for the liquidation of the club. But on a serous note our owners must really starting to worry. ACL/CCC can really go after our owners now. They are no longer gaged and can put a lot more evidence into the public domain.

I think the chances of ACL getting the lost rent have gone with the Administration.

FWIW, and just mho etc., I think rather than crowing this is where ACL should offer the olive branch.

Come back home, take the £150k deal (which must mean ACL making a loss), and let's talk slowly and calmly about what you need in terms of access to revenue streams, what you can afford, and what we can give you.

It was a straw clutch in the 1st place if ever I've seen one...I wonder what Tim 'Let's be absolutely clear' Fishcake will be conjuring up now as his next avenue of bollocks.

'Hmm, that didn't work, but those idiots at the Football League still believe that we are going to return to Coventry in 3 years...oops sorry I extended it to 5 on the sly.'

This seems to be constantly ignored by those bitter against ACL/and the Council. I am not saying there is no case to answer regards acl or ccc but this has consistently been an all party stance

How many olive branches do they need to give sisu for god sake?? Sisu don't want to play at the Ricoh, end of story. Im even starting to feel that i dont want ccfc back if sisu are still in charge.

I would love for that to happen. Get everything out there, even if it implicates ACL/CCC in any way.

We deserve to know the full extent of what exactly has been happening at our football club.

even awarded costs to Council & ACL I believe - so SISU get to pay for the experience

Assuming they dont get leave to appeal by Thursday

I think that the strength of the judgement may well but a block on them appealing it. And as you say the costs to them will get huge, do they have the money to keep dragging it out?

To play devil's advocate, I think all anyone who is suggesting this as a course of action really wants is CCFC back in Coventry. I agree with you that they have had plenty of chances to do the right thing by CCFC, and have failed at almost every turn (though, and I don't care what flak I cop for this, I completely agree with their desire to have the club run sustainably and sensibly.)

All many of us really want though is Cov in Cov.

Respect your feelings though and, to some degree, I share them.

Mate, I know where you're coming from. No one hates SISU more than I do, but if there's a chance of getting the team back to Coventry and having an honest negotiation I'd urge everyone to go for it.

SISU must know they're done now. They're not going to get the Ricoh for nowt. Getting the team on a stable footing and back on reasonable terms with ACL would give them a half-decent chance of selling up and moving on and cutting their losses. Better for everyone, especially us, surely.

Have to keep pushing for them all to talk to each other anyway.

if they don't, what's lost in trying?

Wonder if ACL will sue SISU for the "unlawfully withheld rent" ?

Time somebody put SISU on the back foot and tried to distress them. Might force them out.

I bloody hope they do. It would be nice to see the shoe on the other foot. And as the judge has said the rent was lawful it shouldn't take hat long.

I take your point, but I think they've done it Hugh. That was the point of the administration.

It was always accepted that there was a debt, it was just that CCFC Ltd apparently didn't have enough money to pay it, having mysteriously run up debts of £60m and having (seemingly) no assets.

Much as i want ccfc at the ricoh, the situation is frankly bizarre.
In any other environment, would any reasonable landlord, having been screwed over by a tenant, and still owed a shed load of money, give them a new rental contract ?
Hats off to ACL if they can forgive and forget SISU's appalling behaviour.

Seriously...

READ WHAT I SAY BEFORE DECIDING ON MY BEHALF OR STFU WITH THE STUPID PETTY COMMENTS!

I have read and been slagged of in plenty of what you have written. It is just nice to have my and others views that ACL/CCC acted lawfully in what they have done.

YOU HAVE CONSTANTLY STATED THAT ACL/CCC WERE IN THE WRONG, WELL THE HCJ DISAGREES WITH YOU AND THEM.

I would love to see OUR club back in the City of Coventry but ACL/CCC should give no ground to our owners. Coventry City can only get back on it's feet with new people at the helm. The only way that will happen is by ACL now distressing Shitsu by making them continue to haemorrhage money in Northhampton.

But and I know it is a big BUT, if it can be proven hat our owners DID move assets from one to the other then ACL/CCC can go after Shitsu not just the club company's . Well I hope so anyway.

I'm sure you won't have too long to wait, Torchy. Because he makes so many of them, it seems to me that Mr Fisher actually enjoys making ridiculous statements.
