Just a question - what is it that would appear to be wrong with this Appleton confirmation reported by the CT .............

"He said the League had confirmed all current players' contracts were in the Holdings company."

............ I thought that contracts and registrations should be with the golden share per FL rules............... which was awarded to ............ Otium Entertainment Group Limited. I understood that part of this process did was to unify everything(shares/registrations/contracts/club) in to one company not create exactly the same situation as before but with different company names??

[/QUMr Appleton said: "I've found no evidence of any physical transfer of assets thus far.

Well of course it wouldn't have been physical; I very much doubt a lorry turned up at Ltd and physically transferred the players to another company called Holdings. The word "physical" seems to be PA's 'get out' in case it is later revealed that there was in fact an illegal transfer of assets.

"All the current players' contracts we've seen since the date of the administration are in Holdings."

Again - this is potentially a very misleading statement. Surely PA should be talking about the location of players' contracts that were signed prior to the date of administration.

To me these two statements are extremely suspicious in that - at first glance - they suggest no impropriety but on closer inspection they are meaningless. That makes me think that there may well have been illegal transfers of assets. If PA is confident that is not the case, then why hasn't PA said so? Why is PA using weasel words? OTE]THESE beeing the most important question has been asked 4 times on this thread and no one has answered it , when did the players move from ltd to holdings? we all know it was before admin

Appleton told the majority of fans from early on they wouldn't be happy with the outcome or his findings, he looks and see's what he wants within the law to suit what Sisu want....Anyone who thinks differently needs to look into his statements, all fall into line including his timing of release, he cant find this, cant find that, didn't know what he was selling for months... He like the owners are a joke, they are masters at play on words and misdirection while taking the club further away from its home.

Im fucked off with all parties involved for being so headstrong that a compromise cant be found, but no one can tell me Appleton was appointed for no good reason other than Sisu have certain control....TF said in front of hundreds watching and thousands listening Ltd had nothing in it ,,, Appleton played dumb while other interested parties were left guessing what they were potentially buying..It was never a fair playing field and still listening to the pair of them BS now some still see fit to defend.... Angry i was, frustrated i have been but now i have come to the conclusion in my opinion no matter the outcome TF and Appleton are playing within the rules but morally outside the norm, while laughing at every fan who has ever followed this club. I feel sorry for those who will run to buy shirts, buy sixfields tickets, and jump at every chance they have to defend this process or people who are running our club. I feel these people including Appleton are doing so without care or moral obligation to its history or city without its name would not even be a club......

OK, but which company PAID for the players when they were bought ? CCFC Ltd or CCFC Holdings Limited. All the assets in CCFC accounts show the players as assets in CCFC Ltd, not Holdings -- explain Mr Appleton explain.....

It is surely one massive conspiracy.
Or is it a case of 'a thief that believes everybody steals'?

hahaha are you seriously arguing that SISU and the onside SISU-appointed administrator have NOT conspired to ensure SISU achieve their aims?

Yes I am.
I believe sisu set this up all by themself and made sure the administrator - any administrator - would come to the solution they wanted.
Which was breaking the Ricoh lease while retaining club ownership.

So if Appleton is only prepared to mention players in Holdings from start of administration process !!!!
Why did he make a big thing of going back to year dot of Ccfc's history ?

They may have not moved players but signed all new players since the 2010/11 accounts in holdings not ltd.

Les Reid has had a pro Sisu agenda for some time, despite his Editor calling for Sisu to go if they chose to take us to Northants.
This article shouts the dubious premise of getting 10 points back, without any evidence of that at all. It is designed to pressure ACL and support Sisu's aims.

Those aims are getting the Ricoh way below market value, they have been repeatedly offered lower rent deals for months on end.. If Joy had wanted to sort a rent deal they could have months ago, they don't.

What a load of tosh.

Question ACL = pro sisu.

Those accounts were 2010/11, how many players do we have that signed that far back? I imagine that they got to a point, then started to sign new players in holdings instead.

Why do people want a good deal for ACL? I couldn't give a shit about them. The football club should be all that matters. I don't want some stadium management making money out of the us, The club should play there for whatever rent the ladies pay and keep all the money they generate. Maybe then we can fulfill the potential a one club City the size of ours has.

Well if CCFC do not return to the Ricoh isn't the alternative to have division 3 football with the occasional foray into the championship.. is that your ambition?

Also I believe a deal must be equitable, not made at the point of a metaphorical gun.

I still want to know about Joe Murphy's contract.

If his was in Holdings I might start to accept it was commonplace pre-Fisher. He's one of, if not the only, players to not have signed a new deal since Fisher arrived.

Show Me The Murphy Fisher.

I really doubt CCFC's income from sixfields will be sufficient to sustain a team in anything higher than division 4,in fact the conference is a more likely outcome.

My other concern is that if an equitable deal could be done on the Ricoh, just how many fans would still not go whilst sisu are owners.I would hazard a GUESS that upwards of 50% would stay away.

Oh dear you saying that!!

Another Appleton statement that brings up more questions than it answers. CET try and make it news....will we get 10 points back? No...even if an agreement is now reached.
But both sides need to swallow some pride and get back round a negotiating table. Joy Seppala needs to take a look at Port Vale and learn how to communicate with fans ....this club needs some transparency and to be playing in Coventry.

No. I'm saying it's not all a big conspiracy.

I've never called Elliot corrupt.

According to program notes by TF everything has been brought together under one company

http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/slack_use_of_company_names__fisher_807231/index.shtml

So which company is it Otium or CCFCH? Because the FL have given the share to Otium havent they? But Fisher & Appleton seem to think CCFCH owns the players?

I vaguely remember somebody waving a consultation doc about, re: a change of employment contract.

The assumption here was it was a hasty change from Ltd. to Holdings, but could it in fact have been from Holdings to Otium?

I dont see why they cant be clear in statements about things like this. But as usual muddy waters

Ray of hope is that a Liquidator might investigate the conduct of SISU and Appleton let alone previous directors. That is definitely where I would start looking.

Apparently starting liquidation process for ccfc ltd this week - anyone know if the papers have been filed in court to do so?
