Why hasn´t Fisher been replaced?, by all logic he should have been let go, as they moved to sixfields, a new face should have been introduced to reduce the damage and create a chance of coniciliation with the fans.

I wonder if they want the animosity to be there as this has become the excuse to move the club and build a new stadium with surrounding redevelopment, which could very well be most lucrative for SISU.

How do you make money of a club you bought in 2007 that just moved into a brand new stadium and you realize the property and land is not for sale?

You change the plans, You move the club and you buy your own land.....
THAT would be virtually impossible if things were rosy,it just wouldn´t be possible to explain the move, especially to the Football league the reason to move must be highlighted and maintained at all costs, as it is the only way you can get your investment back if u cant buy the existing stadium and land.

We find ourselves today, to some degree, understanding and accepting, from a business point of view, that a move away from the Ricoh is justified to some small small degree.
The move could only be justified by creating some kind of rift, and maintaining it.

......with this kind of money involved, other peoples money, a hedge fund must plan ahead, well ahead. Once it became clear the Ricoh could not be aquired, with the kind of money already involved, this was the only option.

If you are FORCED to wait on an investment to bear fruit, you invest in either commodities or land/property as they have a strong tendency to maintain their value over time, this is exactly whats being done. Hedging.

Hence we still have Fisher around. His role at the club would normaly be spent , Seppala surely realizes this. He is still here for a reason. And my guess it´s to maintain status quo. They will probably wait for another season to see if the Ricoh can sustain itself, if it can, and they still own the club that is, Fisher will be let go, they will invest, build and develop themselves they have no other choice.

The "interview" btw is a for sale sign if anybody hadn´t noticed.

seppela said in her speach, "tim fisher is doing a great job".

Lets just analyse his record- (not an exhaustive list):
-Relegated.
-Financial losses/Administration/Liquidation.
-Lower value player assets.
-Ground sharing 35 miles away.
-Alienated 80% of regular supporters.

What were his performance objectives when he was appointed if this is conceived as being a job well done?

Yes, picked that up quite early on.

Doubt very much she will get anyone to pay what she wants for it though. So the waiting game starts until they cut their losses and run.

Although most people know my feelings on this matter, in fairness to him, he picked up the reigns from the "greatest ever board to be assembled at a football club - ever. Fact. End of"

He's also taking direction from JS who seems quite clear that she knows what she wants and would clearly destroy communities to get it.

No amount of money would make me want to work under those circumstances. I don't feel for him though. He took it on. Was it his decision to move us away from Coventry? Was it his relationship with the council that had gotten so stale?

I think it was Joy's decision, personally and I think he inherrited a torrid relationship with ACL. I think he could have performed much better but I also think that had he and Waggott been brought in right away, we wouldn't be where we are now. We'd be at the Ricoh, with full or part ownership and we'd only be moaning about how our best players get sold.

As a business leader- and one who has been for a considerable time- apportioning blame to what went before is shallow and weak. He is in charge- he is responsible for the plight of our football club. He has clearly made serious errors of judgement , buck stops with him, he is responsible.

Buck stops with him.

You forgot to add:
- managed to break the crippling lease from ACL
- employed two very good managers playing really good football
- continued to support youth development as seen with a team full of players from the academy

Agreed. By taking on the role, he's taken on the accountability, my point is just that I wouldn't work under those circumstances.

Tbf the relegation was really Delieu's fault not TF's and there's nothing wrong with lowering the wage bill to an affordable level, we've overpaid for mediocre players for too long. The rest I agree with.
