Why hasn´t Fisher been replaced?, by all logic he should have been let go, as they moved to sixfields, a new face should have been introduced to reduce the damage and create a chance of coniciliation with the fans.
I wonder if they want the animosity to be there as this has become the excuse to move the club and build a new stadium with surrounding redevelopment, which could very well be most lucrative for SISU.
How do you make money of a club you bought in 2007 that just moved into a brand new stadium and you realize the property and land is not for sale?
You change the plans, You move the club and you buy your own land.....
THAT would be virtually impossible if things were rosy,it just wouldn´t be possible to explain the move, especially to the Football league the reason to move must be highlighted and maintained at all costs, as it is the only way you can get your investment back if u cant buy the existing stadium and land.
We find ourselves today, to some degree, understanding and accepting, from a business point of view, that a move away from the Ricoh is justified to some small small degree.
The move could only be justified by creating some kind of rift, and maintaining it.
......with this kind of money involved, other peoples money, a hedge fund must plan ahead, well ahead. Once it became clear the Ricoh could not be aquired, with the kind of money already involved, this was the only option.
If you are FORCED to wait on an investment to bear fruit, you invest in either commodities or land/property as they have a strong tendency to maintain their value over time, this is exactly whats being done. Hedging.
Hence we still have Fisher around. His role at the club would normaly be spent , Seppala surely realizes this. He is still here for a reason. And my guess it´s to maintain status quo. They will probably wait for another season to see if the Ricoh can sustain itself, if it can, and they still own the club that is, Fisher will be let go, they will invest, build and develop themselves they have no other choice.
The "interview" btw is a for sale sign if anybody hadn´t noticed.
