Absolutely no guarantee SISU will sell and besides what happens to the price considering all of the debt that has been loaded against the club. The chance for the club came before Appleton handed it back to the hedge fund for nothing. SISU have to take what they can for the few assets that they actually currently own and move on. Will the council really hand over a brand new Arena to the same company that tried to bust them, for next to nothing.
This is all about Seppalla's ego and image now and her appeal to future investors.

The club has a lot of potential with an owner who actually knows something about football and has some sort of passion for football. It doesn't have a future with an owner that sees it only as a pawn in a money making game.

I've read it a few times on here, but why does an owner need to know about football? The owner employs managers who do. Our current managers of the football side of things, Waggot, Rioch and Pressley have done little wrong in my opinion. Waggot in particular appears to know his stuff. Of course I can't be scathing enough about the dross that pitched up before them.

I agree. I assume there initial intention was too get in, get to the premiership, take the TV money, then feck off. Their 'business cycle' has put us on a different course. A lot longer and a lot more feckin painful for us. But once they're on with a chance of a decent return, they will definitely feck off, it's in a hedge fund's DNA.

Otium/SISU had the winning bid, they wernt going to win it for pennies. That makes me think they are here for the long haul, they bid enough to secure our club, they arnt going bust and they have fingers in many pies from what i can gather. The club is a big loss for them, you would think with the millions they have lost they would of been out years ago, there not there still here, soaking up the losses and trying to move the club forward. They wont go anywhere till they go bust (unlikely) or they get a serious close to loss recouping offer for the club (highly unlikely). I hope they get us back to the Ricoh, turn things around and sell get their money back and get out, only problem with that we end up with another money greedy owner in for the profits and nothing else.

The answer for us as long suffering City supporters is for a mega wealthy City supporter to buy the club is Pete Waterman a City fan? Not realistically going to happen.

Talk about off topic, oh yeah the shop, its a move forward in a great location with plenty of attractions to draw people in, The one in town was out of the way hard to see as a passer by unless you were going to and from the market, such an obscure location and small shop it was pointless. Tescos was a captive audience pretty much, if you liked Tescos you might have had a nose around, At the Gallacher there is such a variety of shops that it such provde a steady stream of traffic.

For me its a good move, the club need a good shop, i hope it works, not for sisu or anyone else just for COVENTRY CITY FOOTBALL CLUB!

I do remember the highfield road club shop and as much as I would give my left arm to stand in the west terrace again, the club shop was shite. If I remember it was quite narrow, you just couldnt move in their on a match day.

It's all bollocks mate, no one can say if you're right or whether my suspicions would become reality but the only thing for certain is that the club is dying on it's arse and I'd give anything to be waffling on about a new centre back or a tough tackling midfielder rather than this repetitive cycle of conjecture !!

Does it really matter I live in Finham and never shop at Gallagher used to use the one in town, and the one at the Ricoh on match days.

so having it at the other side of town and with no reason to shop there means I won't use it.

They still have the shop sign up in the City Centre maybe they could recycle it and save themselves another couple of bob

Close the original outlet and move to Tesco Stall- hysteria.

Ashdown, I didnt answer as I dont blame ACL, I'm just not impressed with their role in this saga, I think they could have done things a lot better thats all.

I hold SISU 100% to account for the whole mess, and for what they are doing to our club. I hate them with a passion, but like others have no idea what I and everyone else can do to get shot of them.

I apologise for being a bit of an argumentative arse in my post, its what this situation does to you. I wish it were just a bad dream but sadly it seems never ending. I dont want to fall out with fellow fans, and see us divided and fall.

But you must have missed the pr from the club and Sisu where they said the costs of playing at Northampton would be funded by SISU. So because of this the team won't suffer financially if none of us to go into Sixfields. Support from the hill and/or at away games but no need to break NOPM if you are observing this because you are worried about money for the team.
