I am not pro ACL. I am fully against SISU getting the freehold though. They can't be trusted. And they want to rip off a charity at the same time. Otherwise why won't Joy say what price is the only price she will pay?

Have very little respect for NTFC and some of their fanbase - there was a big contrast with how Walsall fans reacted to the groundshare speculation, they massively lobbied their club to make sure it didn't happen and I have a lot of respect for that. But on the main NTFC forum well over half voted to take the money and sod the wider integrity or fan solidarity - 'not our problem' basically. Some of their fans were very opposed to be fair but even so I hope they crash and burn this season.

I agree with what you are saying mostly, these problems were in play way before they took charge or else we wouldn't have been so close to admin all those years back. Sadly just taken it to another level.

Whilst much of what you have said is true, what you're missing is the reasoning behind all of the actions that you've pointed out. Firstly, players move on. We've always had players move on to bigger and better things. Be it Westwood to Sunderland, or Dublin to Villa. That's just football. As for the lease that was signed by SISU, well it was our previous owners who signed that lease, and it was SISU who took over the lease when purchasing the club. Had SISU really known the impact of that then I very much doubt they would have bought the club. And for that I'd point the finger at random and the early directors of SISU, people who are no longer associated with the management of our club. The Higgs charity had approved the sale of their share of the Ricoh to SISU which was then blocked by ACL so I'm not sure why you think they were being distressed? The whole administration process you could easily argue was initiated by ACL in an attempt to keep hold of their lease and force new owners. Which failed dramatically. And as a result, that lease has now been broken. And finally as owners of the football club, why would you then want to sign another lease with the Ricoh arena when they have shown nothing but contempt for the football club, using it as a cash cow for all these years.
These last few seasons we have focused on youth development, and bought in two much improved managers in robins and pressley. SISU created this mess, and now they're trying to fix it. The change in directors and improved choice of managers has shown this. Bringing the football club and the Ricoh (or a new ground) together makes the football club a much better proposition for future buyers and investors. So there is your one solitary agrument for allowing SISU own part of the Ricoh arena. Then they'll be out of the club for ever...

Why do people keep arguing that SISU didn't know what they were getting into. They saw the books before they took over, it was the temptation of getting their hands on the stadium and the surrounding that brought them here. Their own greed has brought their downfall as they haven't acquired the stadium at a snip like they were hoping. Their plan B of distressing ACL failed when the council outmanoeuvred them with refinancing the loan.
Personally I think SISU have backed their selves into a corner. JP may have found interested investors that's a long way from actually securing Their investment. While fans are staying away I don't think these investors will cough up the money. Pressley is doing a fine job with the youngsters but as the season progresses and injuries occur to our thin squad, results will take a hit and so will the number of fans.
Doesn't look good for SISU.

like i said, no ones blameless. i just see one party considerably more too blame than the other, that being shitsu. shitsu are currently the biggest obstacle in a future for our club that doesn't involve relegation battle's, relegation, late filing of accounts, transfer embargos, selling of our best players, selling our best players for the 1st offer that comes along without getting the true value, regular manager sackings, decent managers clearing off at the 1st opportunity, directors who don't share the fans passion for the club, directors who's comments smack of incompetence, directors who's comments smack of insult to the fans, putting themselves in administration, bringing liquidation and that's without mentioning that they did more to take our club away from its home than they did to make it stay.

if you really want to ignore all those points that i can think off the top off my head to throw scorn at ACL then i feel sorry for you. its like locking someone up for stealing a knife and not holding them to account for the murder they committed with it.

like I've said several times getting rid of shitsu may well bring ground ownership at the same time, that's a win/win encase you hadn't realised.

and if getting rid of shitsu doesn't get rid of ACL that's the point we come together to push for the keys to the ricoh.

that's a big assumption. you are assuming that by then the community haven't abandoned the club. if they have and there are 2000 going to every home game shitsu are going to have to sell an awful lot of pie's to the 2000 individual's to make up for 10,000 lost ticket sales, not to mention shirt sales and other merchandise.

under shitsu and FFP rules our club is heading in one direction only and it aint up.

if the height of your ambition for the club is the conference then keep on turning a blind eye/supporting shitsu. if it aint then start doing everything in your means to get them out regardless of how futile that may seem at least you're going down with a fight. we're sky blues after all, not French. and i have dreams of Coventry reaching the premiership again and putting their name on the FA cup again. if you share my ambitions then you need to be more ambitious than shitsu.

The Higgs Charity has at no point approved the sale of their shares to Sisu.

The Higgs Charity has at no point approved the sale of their shares to Sisu.
ACL cannot block sales of shares in ACL. I am afraid that you are confused.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that this was the case? No problems to be proven otherwise. Just going by what I hear.
