And if they're serious about building a stadium, I for one have no problem with them building another stadium in Coventry...
The current rhetoric is:
CCC - we don't need CCFC, if they don't come back we will have to make plans to move on;
CCFC: We have moved on, we intend to build a stadium.
Neither of those statements are a problem if true. One great leisure facility by the M6, and a great leisure facility elsewhere within the city where CCFC plays, everyone's a winner, more of a winner than if CCFC returned to the Ricoh in fact. Added bonus of job creation and wealth generation.
So... call their bluff.
As opposed to cutting your nose off to spite your face, and pushing them away. That's partly how we got here before, because of mad rantings from former council leaders.
