What would people like to see if a deal cannot be done over the ricoh,a stadium like Rotherham built: or a stadium similar to tranmer​e: ????????:thinking about:

to be honest not intrested in another stadium at all, return to the ricoh or SISU can fook off with the team, CCFC will be finished for me if we do not play at the ricoh the home of the skyblues, any another stadium outside coventry im done with the club

Hate to say it but if Sisu/Otium continue down this ludicrous path then it will be a lot longer than 5 years. Need to find a suitable site, agree a price (we know how Sisu like to make an offer), aqquire said land, get plans drawn up for outline planning, sweet talk any local residents that tell them to fuck off (unless they are planning it in the Gobi desert), continue to try and sweet talk local residents, outline planning refused, Sisu/Otium appeal (they do love an appeal), get outline planning, change the plans to suit what they want, go for planning, speak to local council about infrastructure, more defiance by local residents, planning refused, another appeal by Sisu/Otium, how many years down the line would this be without concrete in the ground. They are a world of fucking dreamers, the lot of them and anybody who is sucked in by this needs their head looking at. I live up by Brown's Lane and Peugeot tried to build a 24 hour distribution center there. The land had already been used as commercial and I'm sure it still took over 3 years for outline planning before it was finally beaten by the local residents, and that was a huge organisation like Peugeot, do you think that small time Sisu/Otium will be able to carry the same clout as them. No area, village or small town is going to want a new football ground with all that comes with on their doorstep. so the outskirts or just further is never going to happen in my opinion.

This ^ Sticking with it this season in the hope that we return to the Ricoh but if we start a second season in Northampton then its game over as far as I am concerned. The longer they stay away the less they can claim to be Coventry City. I might come back to it if we get new owners and they start all over again, playing home games inside the city boundary but that appears a very big IF currently.

I think the Ricoh is one of the best I've seen.....that is not political point scoring I really do think that. Any large stadium lacks atmosphere half full...surely the idea is to fill it.

Can you imagine us back in Premier league in the top half just outside the top six? I think it would be almost full every week and have a fantastic atmosphere.

Coventry fans have been on a long long road of underachievement! The fan base is there and they can stand there ground against anyone.

The above is a post I said earlier, this is why I think they can take this bluff around the wrekin and back for all I care. This time frame they talk about is bollocks because no-one knows what oppostion they will encounter on the way. Local residents are the voting public and if we can bring a change in government, how easy would it be to stop a football ground being built. In all honesty, do you really believe people would want Legoland in their back garden ? How many supporters do you think we will have anyway by the time they start the mythical ground works. It is easy to set up these kind of groups, doesn't mean diddly squat to me.
