I think relegation to the 1st Div was deliberate (1 Viewer)

Football is a gravy train and some have made shed loads in a business were most clubs struggle, not saying for one moment our present bosses are but I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during the times of Clouting, Orange Ken and Imre

Ha, yeah of course it was. Same as getting relegated out the Premier League was. Getting relegated to League 1 was inevitable when we didn't get promoted at the first attempt in 2002. Money we hadn't got had already been spunked in a desperate gamble to gain promotion, putting the wheels in motion to the disastrous move to the Ricoh as tenants.

I believe It would not of suited the owners cause for them to have done what they are doing playing in the Championship.

So I think we were deliberately relegated, so they could begin this charade.

In order to do this, they left a weak manager in control, starved him of any real funds and sold important players against his wishes.

SISU have no interest in football what-so-ever, make no mistake about that.
Rubbish

This point of view may seem reactionary Tosh, but I for one agree with the sentiment, Joy Sepalla, by her own admission, has clearly defined the reasons they are here, and it sure aint Football, she makes no secret of the fact that she knows little or nothing, about our national game, and is quite happy for it to remain thus so.
Despite the offer to CCFC/ Otium sports and leisure, to play at the Magnificent Ricoh Arena, Sisu, in a fit of Pique and vindictiveness, have stolen away to "The cowshed in the meadow"at great financial loss, and more than a little, self imposed ridicule.
How can a Football club justify its self ruination, and unhealthy estrangement of its loyal fans. "we own the Club, We own the players, and we will take them wherever we like.
So could Sisu engineer relegation? you've Got to make your case about this one, but it has to be said that they appeared to pull a Sisu Friendly Administrator out of the hat, when one was needed, so how far, does our owners power stretch, well far enough to nutmeg the FA. but not far enough, to sort out a renewal contract for Marlon King, whose goals would have almost certainly kept us in the championship.

The most amazing thing is people believe it.

Weather it's true or not is questionable but I would say it is more amazing that people don't beleive it could happen after everything that they have done to the club up to now.

You say they wouldn't do it, it doesn't make sense, there's not a shred of logic behind it, they would lose money etc. etc. Remind you of any situation we find ourselves in currently?

Torchy, Being a Librarian you should have enough books at your disposal to enable you to research hedge funds
such as sisu Take some time out to study their methods of distressing business's to gain maximum return for their
investors. Unfortunately Joe didn't do his research either.

Joe did do his research;

Joe - "Hi Sisu will you offer me a seat in the Directors Box?"

Sisu - "yes"

Joe - "I'm in - my ticking clock is coming out"
