Not particularly, just making decisions based on the history I know.

I know it wasn't the best attempt at humour, but nonetheless, the attempt to link a bunch of people when the hill becomes fashionable to those 30,000 who turn up for Crewe and Crewe only, and the reaction they get...

I *think* Mr. Broken Hearted gets it... maybe he doesn't.

But don't come on here fucking patronising me about MY fucking club disappearing, because it matters as much to me as you, alright?

Before you introduce patronising, look at some of your own posts. I wouldn't call it misfortune or cursed.....but I would agree it is very tough at times. That's why I don't like terms like floating support or part timers. Fans are fans, once in a while everyone takes time out in a life time for all sorts of reasons. Most are desperate to find a way back in. Moving to Northampton is a form of exclusion for most.

I too think the Sixfields supporters should do something to protest the ongoing exile.
Send us to Coventry, should be on banners, sky blue balloons (tied to ahem, someone's car) etc

Sorry, I haven't seen them and do apologise if you have started one man campaign and have been taking banners into Sixfields and trying to start chants off.

Yet you start giving it the "they are killing the club" but then expect people to do as you suggest?

Why would I feel under threat about somebody trying to start a chant off?

If you want people to chant at Sixfields, then go and start it. If you want banners in there, then go and take some.

It's more than a fair suggestion tbh, although I can see why the people who attend would be reluctant to follow the suggestion after they get abuse for going.

A few are giving it lip service or should i say keyboard service but they really aren't prepared to do anything !!!!

The players certainly don't judging by the referencing in all the interviews given, about the away support driving them on and "Scoring towards a bank of fans " ,in the away end.

I made sure that I clarified your question was just that, a simple question.

You're caught up in the rhetoric from some however that splits a wedge, causes a divide, and stops questions being seen as neutral, even if they are.

Then a thread becomes a tedious slanging match instead of a dialogue.

Wish I could bring myself to go on to the hill, but for me the whole problem is that we are playing 34 miles away and I won't travel 34 miles.

I don't mind if a new ground is a 4 or 5 miles outside Coventry to be honest, not that I believe it will ever happen of course.

Needs to be professionally done, credible and visible. Not some old bedsheet shite that we have seen before.
I suspect it would last about 20 minutes anyway.

I think a major flaw in this plan for those that go to Sixfields to start chants about their opposition to being exiled 34 miles away and wanting to return home is they would actually need to chant....From what comes across on the radio there is currently precious little of that going on. Not a dig just an observation. I find it incredible that such a reasonable suggestion for some form of display of disaffection with where we are now and what the future holds if our owners crazy plan is ever allowed to come to fruition has been met with such derision from those who are best placed to vocalise the feelings of the vast majority. It does highlight why there is so much resentment and bitterness towards each other though...

Must say I usually have very different views about the state of our club and the direction it's going...and how best we as fans deal with that but I really respect your comments on this and also the Sandra Garlick thread...Amazed all Sixfields attendees don't appear to feel the same way though.

We've seen with how few people turn up for the hill, turn up outside the council offices, turn up anywhere really... (how few of us turn up to Trust open meetings ) how hard it is to get people to do something. It isn't necessarily a lack of will, but as Andreas says here, it's easy for all of us to say we'd do things, harder to actually do them!

And that isn't exclusive to those who go to Sixfields.

Not doing something doesn't mean automatically people aren't up for it, but things need to be centrally led really. And the difficulty with that is edgy put a thread up months ago suggesting a banner to take to Sixfields, took forever to actually get some kind of direction, and even then it stalled at 'looking into it'.

That is indeed true, you're right (and I try my best most of the time ). WHen I came on here first I spent weeks being roundly abused after all. Sometimes by people who should know better.

At the same time, bullies have to be stood up to, be they shadowy investment funds, cliquey public institutions... or fans who can't see how stupid it is to do others' work for them and divide. Perhaps more should speak up against those who try and divide, rather than against those who speak up against them.

The above is very true. But I also feel momentum is lost when ideas get really negative reactions, people loose heart and feel it will be pointless if it doesn't get the support.

What is happening to our football team is wrong and I can't understand why people wouldn't want to be vocal about it. We have proven time and time again over the years the Sky Blue Army is one of the most vocal set of supporters in the country.
It would be a shame if we cannot find our voice when we most need it.

I agree with that NW and I think it's very worrying for the future of the club when so many of us...sixfields goers or not... just seem to be collectively shrugging our shoulders at decisions and events which may ultimately decide if we have a future as a club at all. Maybe we've just got no fight left. I definitely agree we need leadership...someone or something to galvanise us as a support because I have no doubt that apart from a tiny minority we all want the same thing here.
