When they quote someones name it can be believed as if it isn't they can sue.
When they quote a source close to someone it is usually speculative journalism.

Stop justifying SISU position.

Bit like when you quote someone supports sisu but then can't find one post to justify your claims?

I haven't justified anything. They all speak crap but I don't pick and choose which articles will be true so I can be outraged and which ones are just paper talk lies to suit.

Torchy does, as he proved in his timeline stunt recently.

Nick, keep it on track will you, the OP asked "what would happen if"

I don't think that needs posts about whether things reported in the paper are true or not...

(Nice to see you admit that TF talks rubbish though....) ;)

Sorry yep, we are all guilty of it! About Haskell buying a small team and the Ricoh..........

I really wanted Haskell to be the winning bidder, but in retrospect, I don't think he has enough money to push CCFC forward, unless his father is willing back him financially it would be a non starter. A shame really, I would have gone "halves" with him on buying the team...I won £20 on Saturday :)

So this from Nick is not bringing in a counter Sisu argument?

It's only bad when Tim Fisher talks rubbish in the paper, anybody else it's just the press making things up

To be honest not actually sure if you and Nick support Sisu but you both certainly like to justify SISU actions.
Nick may do it in an attempt to introduce neutrality but you are just a divisive troll.

It stands as much chance as CCFC owning the Ricoh.....

I would say a troll is someone who deliberately makes false statements in an attempt to create debate / make divisive statements

We know you are a liar - I have exposed you as one

We know you switch sides to stir debate - previously you were massive sisu follower and would snidely put down sisu objectors

We know you seek attention - your pathetic statements that you are about to give up on the club have been boring is all for 6 months

Nothing will happen until SISU actually lay the first brick.
If that happens we can all make some big decisions.
Once they start I expect ACL to put someone like Sphinx in themselves.

The JR will even hold SISU up from starting any serious stadium plans so don't expect anything to change for another 6 months.

WOW. Did that hit a nerve?

I'd have followed Coventry City anywhere. Richardson, SISU or anyone else won't affect my support. Unlike the "when the going gets tough we just moan and give up" attitude of you and others.

That's the sort of reply id expect someone to say when asked if he'd of followed Richardson to Northampton.

But who actually said it.

It's lazy journalism to make a general statement without quoting the facts or the source.

If memory serves me right I heard it on the Shane O'Connor Breakfast Show, baring in mind this is the same radio station that said we had rejected £1.5M for Cyrus Christie from Huddersfield, the offer that no on else had ever heard of.

How are Sphinx going to afford to play there? Are you suggesting that ACL should be subsidising a football club?

Lol, what a feeble little hypocrite you are.

Who's given up following city?

Ill never give up following my hometown team unless they moved permanently out of the city, the bond is to strong.

Being an outsider that's something you will never feel.

As it stands the Charity has had discussions with Mr Haskell. Those discussions continue and are positive and productive but have not reached a conclusion. I know that sounds like a communique issued after a "world leaders summit" but it is as far as I can go. The operative words are 'continue' and 'positive'.
I don't know where Richard Keys gets his information and I am sure that he hopes that he is being helpful but his information is not correct and at a time like this when everyone is suffering heartache, anger, sorrow and frustration I am not sure that speculation masquerading as fact is helpful to anyone.

But who actually said it.

I think I am.
If the stadium is empty and CCFC have definitely left Coventry then why not?

I could get excited about a new Coventry team going up the leagues.

Christ, give it a rest with your continuous "outsider" xenophobic claptrap. I should hope all Coventrians don't have your attitude.

With respect to the OP I can't see anyone bringing in another Football Club to the Ricoh on a regular basis, especially a Club like Sphinx. The only way the Ricoh will be used reguarly is if CCFC return as owners/tennants. There has been Rugby teams and a Super League Club rumoured to be interested in playing their in the past but these are all rumours and mean sweet FA.

So you'd be happy for the taxpayers of Coventry to subsidise a football club? Are you sure this would even be legal? It is interesting that you have never suggested this for the club you claim to support.

Are the Taxpayers of Coventry not subsidising for the Ricoh at the moment? That's stage one already!

So its not ok for the Coventry tax payer to subsidise a team in the Ricoh but its ok for us to subsidise a sale of arena to sisu for peanuts?

Which ever way you dress it up. "You" are subsidising it anyway. You either subsidise it with the team you support or you subsidise an empty arena. It's up "you", I guess.

Is this right Coventrians? Do 90% of you resent supporters from outside the city coming to watch Coventry City?

90% of them do.
