I am not sure what has been proven?

Has it been proven that it is a fact we will never play in Coventry again?

This is the same article that says "Walsall’s Banks’s Stadium is the most likely temporary home" isn't it?

It went VERY QUIET, VERY QUICKLY, didn't it? lmfao

It doesn't prove anything unless sky blue John believes sisu are telling the truth and will be building a new ground which clearly you believe as well. Frankly his ranting over the last few days have been more akin to the kind of tripe that you churn out.

Subsequent to that the club have issued statements that say they will if they agree a deal on their terms. Do you actually believe they are building a new ground then?

Grendo-can you justify the club's decision to lose out on an extra 10,000+ paying supporters a week by playing at Sixfields?

@ Grenduffy....You are the one who says we should attend Sixfields and give SISU our money because they are funding CCFC out of the goodness of their hearts..Load of bollocks........You are the one who believes paying money to SISU will get us back to Coventry, again, bollocks. You are the one who estimates things and passes them off as facts. Also, as has been said to Nick....What part of Fishers QUOTE about playing our last game at the Ricoh and NEVER playing in Coventry again don't YOU understand? and if I spouted as much shit as you do, I'd be wearing a nappy round my mouth, which I don't!

What's wrong with that link Nick?.....Do you think that Fisher's quote will somehow immaculately change if there is another post? Would you like me to break it down into a more manageable wording?...Fisher( that is the CEO of CCFC) says.."We"(CCFC) Have played our last game at the Ricoh..With me up to now Nick? and we will NEVER...That is NEVER, play in Coventry again. I'm sorry if you think I'm talking down to you but, surely, a five years old could understand that "Quote" "NEVER" means "NEVER".......As for YOU Grenduffy, does it mean that YOU believe CCFC will play in Coventry again under SISU ownership if we all pay to attend Sixfield? Come on answer the question?

Coventry City say they will never play in Coventry again and are pressing ahead with plans to build a new stadium near the city.Chief executive Tim Fisher has said the club has played its last game at the Ricoh Arena following the bitter rent row with stadium operators Arena Coventry Ltd.
City plan to groundshare with another club for three years while they build the new ground, with their plans to be presented to the Football League at the start of June.
Any move out of Coventry would be massively unpopular with City’s long-suffering supporters.
More than 9,000 people have joined the Telegraph’s City Must Stay campaign by signing our petition.
The Telegraph will use the views of fans to put pressure on the club, the Football League and ACL to make sure Coventry City stays in Coventry.
But Fisher said: “People have to understand we do not posture, we do not threaten, because that is not how you do business, you only do business in good faith. Always.
“We have started the process of procuring land so that we can shift the new stadium build forward at a pace. The stadium will be in the Coventry area in accordance with Football League rules.
“We have left the Ricoh Arena. We were told categorically by ACL and by the council that there was no commercial deal to be done and in actual fact they would only ever work with the administrator.
“We were very, very clear in our minds as to exactly what was intended. Given the position we have had to make contingency plans to fulfil our fixtures on an interim basis - while we deliver the long-term vision.
“That long-term vision has us playing in the Coventry area in a new stadium that will be designed and delivered in three years.
“All this will be in full consultation with the fans - starting with the upcoming forums. In consideration of financial fair play then we will own all the revenue streams that come from matchday and, non-matchday activities, and therefore we will have every chance of becoming a solid, vibrant club."

ACL claims the Ricoh Arena door remains open for Coventry City and they have not been kicked out.
Walsall’s Banks’s Stadium is the most likely temporary home for the Sky Blues but that move and the relocation to the planned new stadium need League approval.
When Rotherham United were kicked out of Millmoor by owner Ken Booth in 2008, the Football League required a £750,000 bond before giving them permission to switch to Sheffield’s Don Valley Stadium.
The Millers also had to present full details of their plans to return to their home town in a reasonable time-frame, a promise they duly delivered last summer when they moved into the purpose-built New York Stadium.
Owners Sisu placed Coventry City FC Ltd in administration hours before ACL were due to ask the High Court to do the same thing as they chased £1.3million in unpaid rent. CCFC Ltd holds the lease agreement with ACL, while the club continued to operate as Coventry City Holdings Ltd.
Administrator Paul Appleton’s initial report, published on Thursday, was inconclusive with Appleton unable to confirm the whereabouts of the Golden Share, which gives City the right to play in the Football League and FA competitions.
CCFC Ltd is now up for sale, despite Appleton not being able to say what assets it holds. Its future could yet to be decided in the courts.

Can you point out the quote where Tim Fisher said we will never play in Coventry again and the quote you are going on about?

I have put the quotes in bold.

I couldn't see the quote you describe in this link, hence I asked for the other one?

You are undoubtedly unaware of this SBK, but it is very unlikely that you have ever talked down to an adult. (unless you work in learning difficulties)

That isn't a quote though is it? That is what the telegraph wrote, I put his quotes in bold for you (more manageable wording) I am talking about this:

No, I was just hoping you would point me to another link where he had said it, to prevent yourself from looking like a massive prick after trying to explain to somebody what a quote is when you clearly have no idea yourself.

CT are interviewing Fisher, Am I right? Nobody else is being interviewed, am I right?...It is written, "Coventry city SAY Coventry City will never play in Coventry again. Unless you're trying to take the piss, every man and his dog know it's Fisher saying it. Fisher is/was the Clubs mouthpiece at that time, unless it's Dora the tea lady saying it......covmark...you're like thrush...an irritating c**t

Give it a rest. The telegraph wrote that bit, the quote marks were inside these things " ".

The telegraph wrote that first bit........

The bits Fisher was quoted were the bits in quotation marks, I know it is a sensitive subject so I won't go into too much detail.

I put Fisher's quotes in bold for you in an earlier post. Which part of QUOTES don't you understand?

Still funny though when you go off at others for talking shit and claiming things as fact...do you prefer Pampers or Huggies?

In fairness Fisher might not be quoted as saying we will never play in Coventry again but he has said we're not coming back to the Ricoh and he also has said that the new ground will be in the Coventry area rather than Coventry itself. Unless I'm missing something putting those two statements together means we're never playing in Coventry again. Of course not the same as a direct quote but the same outcome.

That being said not sure I would take a quote from Fisher on any subject as being proof something is or isn't happening!

SBK You must learn to quote someone with their quote or your argument falls flat. Unfortunately Fisher is not quoted saying these things is he? Now the Telegraph reports Coventry City say bl bl bla. That's a whole lot different and can be entirely subjective. Most likely is what the jouno reads into the situation from his overall conversation and then basically misrepresents CCFC in the process. he needs his story to appeal to his audience. FACTS are what really matters.
It brings me to the same conclusion when remembering all the arguments about it being fact that CCFC were offered a rent free deal at the Ricoh. Trouble was that was also not the FACT. Same kind of thing really.
What some posters (like you in this instance) want to do is take something as fact when it is not and then try and insist it is because you so want it to suit your own opinion. We are not in the room my friend and if you take the word of a newspaper article then you may as well read fiction because that is what most of media is made up of.
I do get your original point you were trying to make but it's just not fact.
