I wonder why it is so private? If it was worth the £6.5 million surely they would say "look, this proves it is worth shit loads now pay up or piss off"

The weasel, he knows full well that the club boycotting the stadium is impacting the valuation of ACL - one year on and he's trying to make out that the stadium and ACL isn't worth a bean.

Did anyone ever confirm that the barely-literate letter posted up here was indeed from his hand? If so, the combination of his disingenuous Machiavellian comments and poor education paint a picture of a pretty poor example of a human being IMO.

IT isn't impacting anything, ACL are stronger without the club and making more money.

Why does it make him a weasel just asking them to make this valuation public?

"Mr Labovitch, who is also listed as a director of Sisu companies Otium and Sky Blue Sports and Leisure, said: “A lot of numbers get bandied about concerning the value of the Ricoh and of ACL, its leaseholder. It’s confusing for fans and not helpful in resolving the situation."

I think it's only Mr Labovitch who is confused.

Do you know the value then?

According to Higgs it hasnt effected the value one bit. You are on dangerous ground there.

Labovitch and his odious cronies have said that the club has moved on from the Ricoh and plan to build their own little stadium somewhere or other. So why are they so interested in the affairs of a company they have kicked into touch, I wonder.

The answer is simple. Pay what ACL value it at or make an offer and see if it gets accepted.

When you buy a house don't you get an independant valuation?

The value of acl, just like ccfc is dependent on what the seller is prepared to sell it for.

Why don't we have an independent valuation of ccfc?

Why the hell does ML care about the value anyway? Thought they had moved on? Shouldn't he be more concerned with arranging cement mixers and where to start digging foundations?

Why does ML want a valuation if SISU are no longer interested in the Ricoh. They need to either shut up about the Ricoh and get on with the new ground or tell everyone there is no new ground and they need the Ricoh.

An independent valuation seems a waste of time. On what basis would they value, there's so many variables? Do they value with or without the club there, do they value on the past years accounts or future projections, do they value on the basis ACL need to sell or the basis of a buyer trying to make an offer that won't be ignored, do they value for a sale or for a value for accounting purposes? This just seems like an easy soundbite for ML to come out with.

If SISU want the Ricoh don't wait around for someone else to value it, get one done and put an offer in. If there information they need they don't have access to put caveats in the offer and go through those points during due diligence. Do that and they might start to see a shift in support towards their version of the truth and it will pressure the council to respond and justify their decision if they reject the offer out of hand. This seems to be a recurring thing with SISU, less talk and more action is needed. Stop saying the council won't do this or that and call their bluff.

I thought Fisher has said they have moved on do they not communicate with each other? Why doesn't he concentrate on the building of the new stadium?

I don't see that it has anything to do with him the value of a football ground in a city that he doesn't live in,vote in or have any real connection to.

Reading the article it's a valuation from June 2012 he wants made public, totally worthless now and of course we don't know on what basis the valuation was carried out. Just seems a diversion tactic.

You've got a Rolls Royce worth £135k..You want to sell it. You advertise it at £135k o.n.o. I tell you I will give you £132k. You say Yes I accept, or No, it's not enough. Or in SISU's case YOU WILL give it to me for a "Bag of Chips and ten Woodbines"....What do you say now?

It's all about keeping it in the limelight ahead of the JR. They will want to debase the value. Of course they do.

Looks like they have about run out of ideas on how to get a forced sale. At least the reason for us playing in Northampton has popped up again.

Do they know that most people in Coventry don't care about our football club? Just like SISU don't.

You do when you want to sell. And I would only accept an offer off someone who I would trust not to mess me about. If you don't agree with the value put onto the property you make an offer. Or if you want something that isn't up for sale you put in a good offer. Not threaten litigation.

if i had a house i didnt want to sell to you and you demanded an independent valuation id tell you to piss off. It isnt for sale to SISU. Its not complicated. Moving out and not accepting a revised rent offer is another SISU masterstroke.

Oh well best stay in Northampton for a bit longer then.

Maybe they just want to see the difference between the value put on it by the owners and market value, if the owners value is silly then surely it's them getting in the way or making it hard for us to come back?

Independent valuation, the independent part is easy there are plenty of professional firms available to do this, the basis of the valuation would be the difficult part. Do we base it on the main tenant being a club averaging 20,000 crowds in the championship (is when the SISU Master Operators took over) or is it based on 10,000 fans in League 1 or based on a club playing in Northants.

Surely it's based on the situation now?

Looks like it until SISU get a grip on reality. If im wrong, can you post an independent valuation of you house on here for me. I might be interested in buying if its the right price.

The danger with such analogies is if someone doesn't want to sell their house to me, but will to Rick Savage, they can't really be surprised if I decide to live somewhere else.

It's amazing how many people wouldn't like to know what it's worth and what they want to charge for it.

Would people be happy with them trying charge 10 times too much to the club?

The valuation ML is referring to is 2 years out of date though. What purpose would releasing such information serve?

Lets hear the value. The more information we have the better formed our opinions will be.

Maybe the value of when we were there?

Maybe it gives people an idea of what it's worth and an idea of what to bid?

Id be interested to know it's value

SISU get ACL for zero , SISU are the main tenant, then sell ccfc but tie them into a rental of £1.5m p.a.payable to SISU, charity ripped off, club saddled with a high rent but access to pie money agreed, SISU get a large chunk of their money back Nick & Grendel happy as justice has been served.

Unfortunately work in an industry where there are hedge funds buying businesses to get access to properties doing sale and leasebacks and saddling the residual business with uncommercial rents. Above might seem far fetched but its the industry that they are in and Nick & Grendel are struggling to separate the club from SISU. SISU's motivations are clear and it isn't the benefit of the club.
