The fact you don't understand directors responsibilities is understandable. You spend so much time on here spouting crap, that you don't develop your career to a level whereby you might be able pass on your own experiences from the boardroom

So at last you agree ACL "director responsibility" is merely MMM speak for doing what the council wants?

I get PM's from people who support my stance on here and don't post themseleves because of the inevitable abuse from idiots like you. I post becuase of them -- people who care about the club and actually have a balanced view. Looking at your posting history as with Ron's I see not one about the team.
Why is that?

You calling me an idiot? Nice. Im no idiot. Who the hell do you think you are?

I hardly post anything about the team because the team is not the main issue at the moment.

The virtually sole issue right now is Coventry City not playing in Coventry. Its pretty bad also our league status overseen by SISU. Lets talk about the team then, its the worst team in my lifetime of 51 years.

This will help you. Just for starters. A better understanding will mean I won't have to go through it ad infinitum. You seem unable, or unwillingness to comprehend:

Just answer the question -- when ACL's directors make policy decision are these in your view the council's decisions?

Yes or no?

And how is Peter?

I've never seen bfrsba post anything about the team.

Due to us playing in Northampton I have seen my team play one this year.

Wtf do you expect me to post about? Do you want me to post about a team performance that I've not seen?

When CCFC's current crop of directors make a decision are these in your view in CCFC's best interest?

See if you can answer the question without mentioning ACL or CCC or any of their employees.

Remember, you're only interested in the club.

Just two away games from me. If personal circumstances had been different , would have gone to a couple more away to boost away support. Desperately miss going to games at Ricoh and desperately miss my club.

You haven't read, have you? I'm very disappointed. It would have made so many people's lives easier...

You answered the question -- by not answering.

Well the first one anyway. Why so coy about PWKH -- you know him don't you?

Keep squirming, keep avoiding. I'll keep asking until I get the answer.

Yes. He and his wife are coming for Sunday lunch tomorrow. I have a nice piece of beef in. He likes horseradish, but she favours mustard. But only French. Hell, not making that mistake again

At the end of the day the club is the fans. We are the club. Without fans there is no club.

What I am trying to say is that the council need to see past who the owners are. They have to try and help the city of Coventry's own football club where they can. They don't trust the owners, fine. Then any deal has to be approached with a view to having caveats in place to protect the Ricoh for the people of Coventry.

A deal is there to be done. Surely they can put caveats in place to protect the stadium for future generations of this city.
My opinion . I've seen one away game this season and it breaks my heart I post on her because I've been a city fan since I was 11 and a season ticket holder since I was 16. I am 42.

Opinions this opinions that

Our club has been taken hostage and part of me hopes there will be a solution so I can fall back in love with them. Another part wants closure and to move on

What do you post on here for? I've managed double figures despite not going to Northampton.

I'm sorry, I didn't realise you run this forum.

So only people that go to games are allowed to post?

Our owners have not made the money they forecasted.
Making money at all costs is what they do.
Ricoh & land is what they wanted from day 1, but were never prepared to pay a fair price for it.
There was never ANY money in just having the Club on it's own.
If they lose the review they will leave.
There is no new stadium.
There is no pot of £60m to 'fund us' for 5 years.
I hate the modern day football model.

I want my Club back & would take non league rather than where we are now & will NEVER set foot in Sixfields & never buy a shirt with our current owners in charge.

Blaming anyone but the owners is clutching at straws. They have failed in their plans & will bring everything tumbling down around them.

a very sad KLP.

ps, hope your good & well Nick.

So many on here seem to back the council more than the club?

Why do you think that?

I back the council more than SISU and their group of companies. But I still back the club over both. The fact that I believe that SISU have acted underhand and the way that they have treated me, a fan of CCFC for 50 yrs, means that I have a feeling of total distrust with them. I side with the council. If, and only when I see action from SISU that is in the best interest of the club, and not solely to just improve it to cut their loses, getting the Ricoh/ACL on the cheap for example, will I change my view point. If they build a new ground that has facilities that are a backward step from the Ricoh, I will remain in the NOPM camp.

Tittle says it all, why should CCC help Otium Entertainment Ltd?

In the past 35 years Coventry has seen Peugeot, Jaguar, Triumph, Massy Ferguson, Rolls Royce, GEC, Courtaulds, and many more other major companies close. CCC did not help any of these as they are private companies and free to do as they wish. These companies provided far more to the city in terms of prestige, jobs, and money than a 3rd Division football club ever will.

Also none of these companies ever (to my knowledge) tied CCC up in an expensive legal battle.

So I'd like to hear the arguments as to why CCC should suddenly help a privately owned company.

After all, we all agree that it would have been better for CCC not to help CCFC back in 2003 don't we?

I do not actually live in Coventry but if I did I would be angry if they had done anything any differently.
Lets stop trying to be too nice, only one side made us leave Coventry.
