The problem with sepalla and her credibility is her performance when the initial takeover happened. She let others run the business who were completely unfit for purpose. The ranson years were profligate with no benefit and the appointment of ken deliu was ridiculous given his prior form.

I have no doubt that seppella is an extremely capable businesswomen who is far more capable than her adversories in the battle. However, the hands off strategy deployed in the early years was bewildering and catastrophic. She needs to explain these failings.

Ditto the whole SISU set up! What credibility do they have? They rode briefly on the crest of a wave before buying us...since then very below average.

She had faith in Deluded and CCFC was his baby, It was not until they asked her for more money that she started to take an interest.
She asked them to come back with a break even plan and they were not able to.
When she asked them why they said because they did not get any revenue from the stadium it was at this point she decided buy the Higgs share. these were her words and when she was challenged as to why she never realised that they got no revenue she said that they were the account managers and she had left it all to them she now realised it was a big mistake she also said she was advised not to invest in the club.

I would say it's the people she's invested in to run the club is where the problem is, someone should have advised her not to invest in them.

She's trying to come over all Lord Digby Jones like. I wonder if they did get him in what his advice on suxfields would be?

Agree one hundred pro cent. That is why we're here. If she had been hands on from the start Rent would have been sorted and ACL history.

Hindsight is a fine thing

Due diligence and an intelligent woman who majored in real estate taking over CCFC "hands on" would also have been fine things at the time, but you're right about hindsight. She still has to take the blame though for taking her eye off the ball and relying on others who weren't up to it.

If there are any details SISU want out in public about what has happened in the past why not just release them, even if they don't want to release them directly I'm sure they could get them out as part of the JR.

This seems a waste of time and designed more at placing blame and going over the past which isn't really going to help us get back to playing in Cov. Think Sepalla has to show at this, SISU can't be issuing demands that everyone involved has to show up and then have her not be there when we all know she is calling the shots.

“We don’t think the Ricoh Arena dispute can be properly resolved while so many of the key facts are kept covered up from fans,” Mr Labovitch said.

SISU have showed time and time again they dont care about the fans. Why is it so important that we have the key facts. As has been stated many times on here by those who say a boycott / protest etc is futile. what can the fans do ?

Still sounding confident that the JR will reveal some condemning facts. He's trying to set them up for a grilling at the forum. Let's hope they accept. No reason not too.

Again this is why SISU need to make a very clear statement on what Plan A actually is and if there even is a Plan B. At the smaller meetings we have had people reporting back that they have been told there is zero chance of the club ever returning to the Ricoh and then you get ML making a statement like this. How are we supposed to believe anything they say when they can't even stay consistent with something this basic?

I think the opposite, if they were confident the facts were going to come out why would they need this forum? If the evidence in the JR shows CCC, Higgs or ACL to be at the root of our move away then there will be enough pressure on them without the need for something like this. Not like there would be some huge bombshell dropped in the JR and then everyone would forget about it, the relevant parties will have to defend their actions.

Seems more to me that they don't think the JR will reveal anything in their favour, or at least enough to change public opinion, so they are trying another method.

Why would any of those other parties wish to be involved? It will turn in to a shouting match pointing figures and explaining nothing. What happened 1,2, 5 or 10 years ago just is not important to most fans. Its been done to death surely. The fans are tired and fed up with it.

What the fans really want to know with a lot more certainty than we are allowed by the club and its owners is quite simple -------- where do we go from here, how do we afford a club that performs on the pitch and values its supporters, and above all when are we coming home to Coventry. The Club has an opportunity to explain that in some detail but chooses to be locked in the past playing the blame game. Disappointing, pointless and out of touch with the fans.

The questions that matter now are not going to be answered

Just my opinion

I just don't understand why ACL, CCC etc should attend. SISU have stated on numerous occasions they will never move back to the Ricoh, and a new staduim will be built. So what is the point, unless there is a plan X Y and Z

I reckon let them attend, it might not solve anything but it might bring some stuff out into the open.

Get them all on a stage and have a debate, none of this going through PR companies for statements etc just let them have it out.

Have you never listened to one of these forums? We struggle to get a straight answer with just one side involved let alone all of them!

Can't see why the Directors of ACL or the trustees at the Charity would put themselves up to do it. The reality is that neither are connected to the Club any more and therefore why put themselves through it. The Council might feel they ought to because it is the Coventry team.

But I am suspecting all of the above will be given the legal advice not to attend. I really do not think all the legal action is over.

The object of this is precisely to create the comments already floating around. "why not what have they got to hide" There maybe something but just as likely there is nothing. Whats done is done and cant be undone

Does such an event actually work towards a solution for CCFC? I do not see how it does. It will stir up emotions and but the solution to this debacle doesn't lay in the past. Get round the table and do a deal that works for CCFC. Whilst round that table put the club first not SISU, ARVO, CCC etc.

Cant help thinking that this just deflects attention away from the things that matter now

Precisely if SISU are determined to get 'facts' into the public domain, what is stopping them releasing them now, or indeed producing these 'facts' at the JR. All this does is further confirm there desperation to try and annexe the Ricoh. One thing you can almost guarantee they won't be letting fans know any relevant information about Stadium Mirage.
I doubt there is a hope in hell that ACL/CCC will agree to go to the forum, as I expect they know very well. It will as OSB58 has said just turn into a pointless shouting match. The message from last years forums couldn't have been clearer, but SISU didn't take a blind bit of notice. Most fans have long since made up their minds, and it is hard to think anything significant will suddenly emerge to paint SISU as some kind of innocent victims.

What stuff do you expect CCC to bring into the open? Would you like to go to an open meeting and divulge all your personal secrets ( everyone has embarassing moments they would rather not discuss - you too )? That's why they ( the parties involved ) have PR companies or people like Mark Labovitch - it distracts from their failings.

Why are we talking about the "blame game" anyway? - even Tim claims not to be into that.

The only thing that matters at this moment is " how do we get out of this mess in a way that all parties can accept?". The "blame game" is for discussion as "history" at a later point.

My "dream" is a joint statement from Joy and A.L. outlining the new "road map" and showing a common desire to get things moving forwards.

Not interested in "pervid plans" or "extracts from emails" - just unnecessary distractions - as is the JR.

SISU don't like the council. The council don't like SISU. It's not news any more. What would be news is if they were to get the club going again.

If somebody has an embarrassing moment to do with ccfc and the ricoh then it should be outted shouldn't it so we all know?
I'm not asking for personal things, I mean related to this.

I agree that ideally it would be things going forward, but maybe if they are put on the spot without PR companies to hide behind and things they can be put on the spot as to what is going to happen going forward to.

invite them all, at least they would be in same room at last.

Q1) would you all agree that £400k including match fees is an acceptable rent until SISU build new stadium. ?

Question two would depend on the answer to question one. If no, reduced or increase the number until both agree.

When both parties agree on a short term deal, stand up, walk out and start selling season tickets at the ricoh until new stadium is built.

If they dont agree, keep asking the side that disagree what they want for a short term deal.

Dont know why the fans need to be there to see it, but hey ho !

I am not even sure about the fans, but maybe like when the trust did a Q and A, but more on the spot without time for them to be checked over. If that makes sense.

This whole forum idea is absolutely stupid because if you get warring parties around this sort of table it is likely to end up as a slanging match and if there ever was a chance that we could return to the Ricoh, this forum would probably be the final nail in the coffin of us ever getting back there or Sisu/ACL/CCC from ever doing a deal. Just the fact that Labovitch is even trying this shows what a complete twat he is and the reason why I couldn't sit down and meet him in the end because I probably couldn't have contained myself. The man is full of spin and no substance and why the club ever thought that he would be a good mouthpiece for us is even more deluded than he is.

My thoughts......

Complete waste of time. Whoever went to the last forums last year like me know they don't answer questions with straight answers and look where it got us last ear we still moved to Northampton.

The fact this is even a possibility is a joke and we all seem to agree nothing will come from it so what's the point. We all know they hate eachother. Great well done so I know what let's get everyone in the same room and discuss how much we hate eachother and disagree. No thanks not for me.

All I care about is Cov back in Cov and this won't help it and if anything hinder it and the hate will grow and shouting and arguing will occur. ML lives in a dream world. Sisu had moved on hat are we still doing a year on talking about ACL and the Ricoh ffs. This is why thegentleman, astute, chief, spionkop, jack griffin et al including me despise them. They are not good for the football club and have been proved factually to be a football business disaster. Relegation, lots of debt, selling top players, admin and liquidations, transfer embargos and 35 miles from home puts that very short argument to bed.

Why would ACL directors etc turn up. I would think less of them if they did. Why would they want to be dragged through the public over something that is not helpful. ACL have nothing with ccfc now and why should they bother. I would change my view if they wouldn't meet to discuss a return but in private and with purpose.

We all need TF, ML and JS round a big fat table at one end and Higgs, ACL and ccc the other and sort it out. A deal that suits all and there must be one. We are in this position which breaks my heart because two companies don't like eachother that's all. Now it's personal and want to rip eachother off though at least ACL try and reduce rent and get ccfc back to Cov which is something.

The JR will play a role for sure. It has to else why bother with it. But if sisu "lose" then piss off leave us alone. You have been proved in a court to be wrong so go away. What's a shitty forum in coundon on the 27th going to do?

I despair I really do.

I would think that any ruling can be appealed if one of the parties feel the ruling is unjust.
I don't think there is need for new evidence etc unless the ruling is from the supreme - or highest court there is.
If either party want to appeal the JR decision I think the next step up the court-ladder is The EU court of justice in Luxembourg.

I don't disagree with you that it should be all about the future, and nor do I disagree that it would be helpful if a constructive path moving forward was focussed on.

I guess, from the club's POV, if they genuinely feel they've been stitched up then to an extent they have to try and show that, as few would get on board with a path moving forward otherwise. If they can at least get a few more fans deciding both sides have maybe not conducted negotiations well (rather than it all being SISU's fault or, even, CCC's fault) it at least means their way forward stands more chance of being listened to.

So why do you think this?

Either the rules in place for the refinancing were followed or they were not. If they were then that is it. Nothing for SISU to appeal on. If they were not then that is it. Nothing for CCC to appeal.

Aye, but do you really think it's so simple? Then why go to court in the first place? How many days is the proceeding scheduled for?
When the judge makes his ruling he will also tell us what he base that ruling on. This is where the losing part may object and feel the judge get it wrong.
