Can't help but feel the fact that ACL have not received a call suggests that this is not a sincere offer.

Come on Tim and Joy prove it is sincere and phone the Chairman of ACL and state your case.

You have always stated that no deal ever gets done through the media.

How is this one different if it is genuine phone ACL

Phone? I thought e-mails and face to face were the only ways to do business weren't they?

Byng is ready to email his offer if this happens.

He's been on a basic hotmail training course.

I hope Michael Orton does not do work for ACL -- if that phone rings........................

Email or phone to arrange the Face to face, I would say but not certainly not open letters. I am sure even you agree with that.
Especially if you say no deals can ever be done through the media......

The open letter is a response to the ACL release yesterday -- ACL I suspect have been advised they are not entitled to £590,000 and it is tit for tat communications.

No they have fulfilled their legal obligation and paid in an account that the Football League can distribute from. I suspect they have advised ACL that the £590,000 in full is not now due -- it is the only conclusion I can draw from the latest strange communications.

I suspect your suspicion is wrong, you stupid moronic sisu loving twit

If the money is owed it should be paid. Oddly I suspect you want it to be paid if it is due or not. That says more about you and your leanings than me old chap.

And you would rather it wasn't paid regardless.
Which does show your leaning I'm afraid.

It's not according to Grendel:

Therefore, it will be considered by the league’s board at its next meeting on August 7 and in the intervening period the club has placed the full sum of £590,000 into an escrow account pending the outcome of the board’s deliberations.

The Club has been placed this £590,000 into an Escrow Account pending the outcome of the Football League meeting, the Club has done it's part.

Well, we can read a dozen things into these statements being released by SISU and ACL.

One thing I believe is ACL are saying they can try to do a deal if they get their money. Seems a strange thing for ACL to come out with all of a sudden. Puts a bit of pressure on the FL to cough op, not that they give a shit I suppose, real football for real fans *cough*

YES.

I don't give a fuck about Sisu and they don't care about Coventry so don't try and put guilt tricks on us they do that fine on their own.

Look the way I see it they will come to the point that they will have no money left.
So do they liquidate and loose everything or do they sell and get some return to be honest I am getting to the stage that I won't even care...
so that is what they have done to me and lots of other former loyal supporters.
Sorry I will never forgive them and never back them.

They really do deserve to Rot in Hell for what they have done to OUR club they have caused irreparable damage so yes make them pay WE HAVE.

If the club / team don't get a penalty (points etc) and don't have to pay it then will people actually be outraged?

It puts no pressure on the Football League as legally sisu owe nothing.

So you'd rather see the the club suffer because of the owners. At last you are shown up for what you are.

I suppose it's down to what the Football League to decide what they believe the Club legally owes ACL. As I highlighted above the money that the Club owed has been placed into an Escrow Account and pending the outcome of the Football League's board meeting in August a decision on how much the Club are obliged to pay.

There is no reason ACL can't do a deal with the Club if it's correct the Football League has been in contact with the Club and ACL so ACL would be aware of this situation.

Why though? If it isn't going to affect the club (no points deduction). I agree if they are fucking about and it gets us docked points then I will be outraged with you.

You want the council to suffer even if the club is being used to do it. Whatever you think letsallsingtogether is you're no better. If anything your worse.

So you think fans are too stupid to understand the situation?

Not all of us no. Some have intelligence to see the club needs to retain its strongest position possible in the current dire situation. To want a 10 point reduction to spite the owners is as stupid as it gets.

Well I think your oversimplifying things there.

No one wants a 10 point deduction, however many of us want the FL to uphold the conditions agreed by Otium when the FL transferred the GS to them. This will be a reassurance that the FL have it in them to stand up to Sisu, and ensure that they will take action against them should they fail to comply with the time limit of returning to Coventry.

Surely you want the FL to be heavy handed with sisu as much as the rest of us?
