Same as the trust on tv calling for admin to solve our problems

Well as the "club" apparently didn't go into admin I guess we'll never know.

Lol !!
Please enlighten me with the full nature of the arrangement that the football league imposed ?
It's laughable that you believe Sisu don't know how much they have to pay !

John it might be the heat or just that you are a complete thick helmet, that you just cant get it.

Do you know how much McGinnity and Robinson have paid to ACL as guarantors?
I doubt it you plum, so until that is fully determined by the FL (you know the ones pulling the strings on the Escrow account matters) then how can the figure be settled. I agree that its SISU playing posturing games as normal, but lets face it if someone had paid a bill on my behalf, I wouldn't pay it again, but then again perhaps that what you do in Luton John. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(* LOl and exclamation marks are a piss take, just in case you didn't realise John)

A bit like Spider-Man and Doc Oc, though not sure which would be which.

It is worrying isn't it. Its like he's Grendulls alter ego. His hate for CCC equates to the same.

"But he's not one of my lot, just because we share some opinions doesn't mean we share all opinions, we aren't a team"

Exactly.

Talking to myself it seems.

Ooh, let youself down there by not using Grendull.

Deflect deflect deflect.

Deflect the utter lunacy of one of 'your lot' by bringing Grendel up. Top work fella.

Retards are you being serious? look at your own spelling before commenting on others scrapping the barrel again I see..

Or is it excuse my spelling because I'm on tap talk and can't find spell checker.

Well I see most retards spelling it Grendal even when they aren't trying to be funny. So I thought I'd go rogue and spell it correctly for a laugh.

Is anyone else seeing adverts for Fisher Investments UK at the top/bottom of the page? It's called "4 ways to avoid running out of money during retirement" having clicked on the link it's not something to do with Tim but made me jump when I saw it. :D

Yes I'm well aware that an amount had been paid by mcG and Robinson.
1) Are you sure that their payment has anything to do with what the FL requested Sisu to pay ?
2) Surely Sisu know exactly how much to pay ?
3) Could Sisu have not just paid the balance then waited for adjudication from the FL on the rest ?
This way we all wouldn't be on tender hooks over another possible points deduction heading our way. Obviously you would be happy to absolve Sisu as usual of any blame !

I've done my fair share of name calling letsall. I've probably called you a name or two before now, but I'm turning over a new leaf.
I'm only going to use name calling when replying to a sky blue kid or skybluejohn post.
(joke, before people start frothing)

Tbf. The FL. said the agreement was that Otium pay ACL what they would have got if they had accepted the CVA. They quoted the figure of 590000. they didn't mention any ifs or buts. There was no mention of guarantors by anyone including Appleton at the time ( as far as I know ). So how do the guarantors come into it?

So you are admitting ACL are a basket case that without a subsidised loan which they would never have obtained in a commercial lenders market would go bust?

That ( commercial lenders) is not the point according to the judge as CCC were loaning to protect an investment they already had an interest in and YB had already Made an offer.

Mulling over the statement today while sat in the daily traffic jam a thought occurred to me. While SISU can release all the statements they want saying they're doing it for the fans and / or club we know this isn't the case. Even Sepalla herself admitted that her primary concern was getting a return for her investors. How would a return to the Ricoh every see that happen? Even if the rent was free and they got all the F&B profit we'd still hardly be rolling in it.

I would be happier if they gave us an idea of how they will achieve the return they desire and what their exit strategy is. Don't need to give anything that would be commercially sensitive, just a broad outline. If any suggested plan doesn't have that in mind then to me I have to doubt how truthful it is.

Clearly the only way is going to be success on the pitch.. and that means getting to PL. I don't think they have an exit strategy, because I think they are planning on being here a long while.

They don't know how to get out, their stratergy was to get the Ricoh on the cheap sell it recoup some or all of their losses and leg it. However their "standard business practice" didn't work:facepalm:Now they are treading water trying to think what to do.

I think the original strategy was to get a quick promotion to the premier league, but they failed. They should have tried to break ACL straight from the start, when they had fan backing. Everyone was on a "you saved us" kind of emotion, I think they would have been backed to the hilt. When they did try it, it was too late. Now, I agree they really don't know what to do. They've fucked up big time though, and they know it.

This was a well thought out response made on CT website.

Paul Grafton 7:41 AM on 22/7/2014

They say they are ready to go, dont agree to any of the conditions, havent paid what they owe and wont drop their legal action despite being kicked out of court three times. Every word they say says they want to return to Cov, but every action they take clearly demonstrates they have no intention whatsoever.

next month the Football League will sorry but its too late to do anything as close to the start of the season (same as last year), SISU will blame ACL for being unreasonable (in asking for what they are rightfully owed and for legal action to be dropped) and for not giving SISU the pop and crisp money contractually owned by Compass. SISU will tell us they are sorry for the fans but they no choice.

Why do they need the football league to tell them what they owe? Just pay it.

Why wont they accept the judgement of the JR saying the judge is wrong in law!? Just accept it and get on with things.

Why dont they buy some land if they really do want to build their own stadium? Just build it.

But they wont becuase its all lies lies lies, but thats only to be expected from SISU, Fisher and Sepalla.

What is unbelievable is that people from Coventry still support and fund them and go to Sixfields. No fans at home games would send a very clear message and publicise the failings of the football league

NOPM anywhere, anytime. 100% BOYCOTT IS OUR ONLY VOICE.

1/2 ACL says it has nothing to add to previous statement following latest press release on Sky Blues' club website yesterday #bringCityhome

Simon Gilbert @TheSimonGilbert · 10h
2/2 to recap - ACL says no talks over Ricoh return until Sisu pays money owed and drops appeal of judicial review judgment #bringCityhome

There is no basis for discussion till SISU drop the JR & pay the £590K into ACL's bank account.. so it is pointless hoping otherwise, things have gone too far for there to be compromise on this issue.

Well I'm not a Villa fan and I think he's right got to applaud him for saying it exactly as it is.

So what part of it is bullshit?

Compass don't own the pop and crisp money, ACL have no legal recourse over the money, no fans would make no difference - need i go on?

Yes thats why the rent wasn't a problem big money in the Premier League sell the club jobs a good un. Then with crowds getting lower no prospect of the PL the stratergy changed and this is where we find ourselves today, The question is, now the latest stratergy has failed what do they do?
