They wouldn't. ACL wouldn't do a deal last year. They tried to put the club into administration. They made their best offer when they knew it couldn't be accepted.Which is why dropping the JR has to happen in the first instance surely. If Sisu are genuine about any return to the Ricoh, then they have to give something. How can professional and thorough negotiation take place until the spectre of ongoing litigation is removed - it simply can't. ACL would have to do a deal then.

You can't have your cake and eat it. ACL want the money from MM & GR (£300k) + £590k + dropping the JR without any indication whatsoever of their willingness to make a deal. They already have the bargaining power of support and the stadium etc.
SISU drop the JR and enter in negotiations without any sort of bargaining power. That's unless ACL are in a worse financial position than is made out.
