Is there any news on the shirt sponsor as mentioned by Mr Fisher?
In the words of Sir Isaac Newton ........ is there bollocks.

He's putting it in a joint press release with details of the new stadium.
Does this mean that Mr Fisher is not telling the truth or in other words lying?
This on top of all the other misquotes, is he really an honourable person to be the spokesperson for SISU.
Is he the one damaging SISU on the PR front, maybe it should be him who loses his job next along with Baker as he is not a loyal and trustworthy spokesperson for Coventry?
He isn't employed as a spokesman for CCFC. He is employed by Joy to help carry out all her shit plans and to try and get us behind them in their fight against CCC.
I would be very surprised if he wanted to come out with all the bullshit he does. But he is in a corner. The truth is so bad that he can't come out with it. He would get crucified by both Joy and us supporters although it has been proved in a court of law that he has been bullshitting us.
You had to smile when he said that the judge didn't have a clue about the law and got it all wrong
I don't buy the rumour that he's a numbskull. He was head of risk management for an investment bank. That's not quite as impressive as it sounds, the risk managers don't necessarily understand much of the maths needed to calculate market risk (there are Phd maths spods called quants that do that). What it does take though is above average intelligence and very high political skills.
I suspect he is playing a careful political game - aimed at Joy not us. He's playing a holding role - delay, delay , delay - keep people quiet whilst Joy has max' time to bankrupt ACL. So basically he'll say almost anything. And BTW, it's because I think that is what is happening that I don't believe the Ricoh Return rumour.

In what world are football fans bothered about having a sponsor on the shirt?

In a world where they're so bothered about the club's finances they'll accept a move 35 miles away on tenuous financial reasons?
You can't go on about revenue streams then not care about probably the biggest one.
I'm not bothered about having a sponsor on the shirt - in fact aesthetically speaking I'd much rather not have one.
However it is a major revenue stream for most clubs, and it does reflect on how disorganised things are for us at the moment under our current owners. I'm not surprised that fans pick up on that.
However it is a major revenue stream for most clubs,
The same world as the ones that are bothered about pie money. I had never really given each a thought until recently.
A bit like food and bev, car parking, naming rights....?

The Ricoh pulled in £1m/year in it's prime and is streets ahead of any ground Sisu might build in terms of advertising power, not least because it's visible from the M6.
But the OP is not asking for financial reasons. I believe he's asking because in his mind the aesthetic of no shirt sponsor isn't right.
I'm not sure how much revenue it generates and doubt very much it being the biggest one.
Its just yet another example of how toxic the brand CCFC has become under SISU's continued ownership. I would imagine that most companies in the Coventry area, would probably view any connection to SISU having a negative image for their company, and would be more likely to damage their business profile, rather than enhance it.
Have to disagree with this.
Any ground that has CCFC playing will be ahead of the other. Without CCFC, would Ricoh have sponsored the stadium?
Why would you sponsor a stadium that has no major events in it just because it's by the m6?
You'd be better of paying a farmer some cash to stick an advertising board in a field.

I think if you look back to when Ricoh signed up they believed most of the advertising value was in the brown signs on the motorway and that the sign is visible from the M6 when people are sitting in traffic. Quite happy is anybody wants to look back to prove me wrong but I can't be that bothered as I waste enough of my life on CCFC.
I suppose before FFP we didn't have to think about it too much.
Breaking news.
Ricoh are going to sponsor Sixfields next season as Coventry City are going to be playing there.
Nice diversion.
not least because it's visible from the M6.
I know. Tell me about it. I lost count of the amount of Audi's I bought after seeing the massive sign on the side of Fort Dunlop that time.

Surely anything is better than nothing?
