If this really is the way that SISU go about negotiating, then it's no great surprise that it all fell apart the first time around. I appreciate the theory that you don't want to lose the threat of an appeal as a bargaining chip, but ultimately this sort of approach is just going to harden attitudes towards them.
All of this talk of renconciliation is cant hypocrisy. SISU have shown again and again that they simply cannot be trusted.
Who could possibly negotiate with them when they keep pulling stunts like this? They dispute every single thing, they leave every payment,and every court move until the last minute. They pretend to be trying harder to engage, and yet once again they show that they care not a single jot about the fans.
SISU had a chance here to get people on their side for once, and all they'd really had to have done was do nothing. Let the appeal die, and then the pressure would have been firmly on ACL. But they can't help themselves - these serial chancers demand yet another day in court on the spurious line that they took too big a beating last time. I sincerely hope they get their arses kicked again, and that it costs them another small fortune to have it done.
One day they'll run out of options, and one day they'll be gone from the club. I can't wait.
