Every one switch off. Same bollocks every day. Today is the first time I won't listen to cwr. I would be wasting my time. Save your time also. They won't have him back on if no one tunes in.

I have previously posted this.
I wondered before our return that the new stadium had hit the skids was down to financing. Getting a supermarket chain to pay towards costs like the Ricoh build arrangement. And that any supermarket chain in their right mind would not touch them based on a couple of thousand fans attending.
Now that we are back at the Ricoh and 10-20k fans expected would this not give a supermarket chain confidence ?
Are we being used ?
Once we know the location we can make a decision on if we will attend ?

In a nutshell, this is what I got, I had to leave before the end of the interview...

Shane O'Connor started by asking about Labovitch:

TF: Mark's role was independent advice during turbulent times. (Suggested no longer required, but would remain a friend of the club).

SOC: Have you come out of the turbulence?

TF: Club was all over the place. Now have an agile business. It's about moving the club forward, putting money on the pitch. This is SW's role. But we need access to revenues.

SOC: (surely it's) bonkers to leave Ricoh in the future. Mad.

TF: We have a football club that can only access 23 days a year. Need the rest. Need to own our own stadium. But Ricoh is not for sale. Have to move on.

SOC asked about signings - two signings, and one leaving.

TF: Carl Baker a fantastic pro, great man. Purely a footballing decision. SP after new faces. someone big and aggressive to lead the line, hence Frank Nouble. (Then said some stuff about Hines, and went on to ticketing.) Ticketing - meeting of the safety committee this morning. (I assumed that meant that there would be presumably or hopefully more tickets released after that.)

As I said in another thread about a week ago...We're being held hostage at the Ricoh instead of Sixfields now!

They most likely have but its all confidential. The problem with SISU is give them an inch they always try to take a mile.

Looks like they up to there dirty tricks again.

I am wondering if this all SISU's mind games like each time they bring up the new ground subject in which they know it will get a reaction from the fans hence the fans putting more bums on seats in Ricoh to make a point that it is our home now therefore it benefitting them.

OR

Buying a new land site would put them in a position to put another silly offer in and again threaten ACL/CCC again. This time they will have a plan B.

If, what I and a growing number of fans are saying, is true, The majority on here are acting like "Druggies". As long as you get "Your fix short term", you don't seem to care about the "Long term" What you all going to do if at the end of the 2-4 years period SISU actually do what they say and build a new stadium, which will definately be "Outside of Coventry City Boundaries" and as such, will NOT (In my mind) be representing Coventry....Well! what you going to do???

Just the normal crap from Timothy. They still want the Ricoh on the cheap. They failed the legal route where they may have just hoped that CCC would back down. So what will they try next?

The most obvious move would be to keep some type of pressure on CCC whilst trying to get our backing so we could also put pressure on them. So I suppose that this new ground stuff will not be dropped.

Yes, the people who are happy to be able to attend a football match at home are very much like heroin addicts.

The problem in all of this is Tim Fisher! Instead of posturing in the media with the same old drivel he should be trying to reach an outcome with both the Higgs for their share and the council for part of theirs or an extended peppercorn rent. He cant see past the end of his own nose the egocentric prat. If you buy the Higgs share you then have access to the top table at ACL, you will also own a share of the profits from that company, how fucking stupid is this man. Negotiate from a position of strength don't keep posturing through the media and can we start a Not One Timmy More campaign please Michael? PUSB

I just don't agree with that. The football club should indeed profit from the footfall it brings to the stadium and the relevant spend. A cheap rent deal and a share of that revenue is fair enough but they can't demand a cut of anything else unless they have bought into the whole complex. If that's not for sale then they need to maximise what they have got with good PR, better football and higher crowds and prices, sponsorship, TV deals and all other legitimate football based activity.

I suspect that after all that has gone on the Charity has no desire whatsoever to sell to SISU or any entity connected to SISU (past present or future). In which case the only way TF can apply pressure on Charity and/or CCC is through the media.

The interesting point comes in 2 or 4 years when decisions have to be made. After all that has gone on then if CCFC say we cant stay but FL say you cant leave there is going to be a lot of pressure from fans on Charity & CCC to sell up to save the club. Could that be what is being set up here (even without the legals in the background)

TF has to keep getting the "message" across ........... even if we do not believe it

There's a lot of truth in this, especially as it will not all hinge on a boycott on home matches as was the case at Sixfields because presumably the new 100% owned stadium will be geared at producing income the whole year round, not just for 23 days per year.
I believe that SISU really do want to build the football side of things and move through the leagues in the next few years, not just because it gives a more credible value in the case of selling on, if that is what they intend, but because there is a school of thought that says that if they can turn it into a profit making concern, why would they sell as their investors will get a good financial return as well as the kudos that comes with the involvement with a successful football club. But the way I see it, they will want to do it in a controlled and sustainable manner, and not, as a large number of contributors to this forum would prefer, throw millions at the team now and hope for short-term results.
Wishing and hoping doesn't seem to be in SISU's vocabulary, but planning and sticking to their guns regardless of the flak seems to be their way.
They certainly don't make it easy to love them, but you've got to admire their tenacity.

So you and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, would be happy to go either 1)Cold Turkey and not have a team to support, or 2)support a team that doesn't represent the City of Coventry?
