To every single one of the 11000 that were there. The atmosphere was terrific........even without the 16000 band-wagoners. :claping hands::claping hands::claping hands:

gutted that i couldnt make it today due to a family party. i gave my season ticket to my brother who says we well deserved the win and he thought there was much more than 11k in there today. also as a little surprise he put a fiver on reda to get the first goal as a token of appreciation for the ticket.

It was an enjoyable atmosphere today. I was sat in block 34 with my little girl and the noise coming across was superb and we of course joined in as did pretty much everyone around us.

Totally agree with the OP the naughty corner were immense and sang from the 1st minute to the last even when we conceded a soft goal, keep the momentum going got a feeling this could be our year :claping hands:

Only heard one round of sighs for a back pass today. This really coild be the dawn of a bright new era!!!

Yeah, we gave the ball away a little cheaply at times and there was one occasion where Haynes didn't fancy a challenge and the opposition got it, but barely a peep whereas you'd sometimes hear groans. Hopefully this is momentum at play.

Just got back to sunny hampshire, couldn't make it last week. Fully deserved the win, and have to agree, those in the corner were terrific. First game I've been to since we left, and It was fantastic to be back. Nice to be at a game with no booing every 5 minutes. It did seem like there was more than 11k, hard to tell though. 3pts and 5th place. Happy days.

Singers corner superb, possibly the loudest it's ever been, with people joining in much further around the ground in blocks 16, 17 onwards.

Who the fuck are you cake head to call anyone who went last Friday and not today a bandwagoner, I know one fella who didn't go today but went Friday is at the moment lying in his coffin awaiting to be cremated.

Shut up you complete bore. I'm sure he's not expecting your mate to turn up, but there's 15999 0thers who suddenly couldn't make it,

Whatever peoples reasons for not going, is it not worrying that our home support has dropped by well over 50%, after a win...?

I agree Travs, but I also think the ticket pricing had a lot to do with the attendance last Friday, I also heard a lot of people moaning about not getting tickets last Friday, but then didn't attend today's game? Great atmosphere today and it did look like there was more than 11k there

Not sure why everyone's surprised, we got the same crowd last time we played Yeovil at the Ricoh, the gillingham game was always going to be a one off, like the Crewe game in the jpt, if we keep top six and playing well then the crowds will get bigger, 11,000 was probably the average crowd before we left for sixfields, we've started where we left off, give it time, you know what most cov fans are like, unless it's a cheap ticket or wer'e doing well they're not interested,

I'm less concerned with Fridays lot not coming back, but where are the City fans in general?

Surely any supporter of the club will have done all they could to attend today, after the year away? Those with valid reasons doesn't account for the poor showing.

Last Friday's 27000 was our potential, 11000 is the reality. Time now to build on this reasonable crowd for League 1 and move forward.

Like others on this thread - not convinced by the 11k attendance figure. Tried to work out where the other 21k would fit. 5.5k in the South Stand, 2-3k in the posh seats - where were the other 12.5k going to fit? Thoughts please....

I'm pretty sure that there was at least another 1500 in there today, I reckon Jim the gateman and his buddies are having a cracking night somewhere !

The atmosphere was one of the best i have witnessed at the ricoh. Great day.

Glad i planned ahead and ordered my ticket online (in seconds) earlier in the week rather than joining the queues today.

Flogged all my old programmes on eBay a while ago, before they went I randomly picked out the Middlesbrough home programme from 1992, the first game of the premier league era, bobby Gould wrote in his notes that we had 9500 die hard supporters. Accurate then as it is now.

Atmosphere was immense, singing from start to finish and no booing. Full deserved the win. Really impressed with our passing game, our pressing and hassling the ball back from Yeovil. I'm not surprised the attendance was back to normal today but if we keep clocking the points up and stay in and around top 6 you just watch that gate increase!

I ordered my tickets online in seconds last Monday, but thousands of tickets didn't get posted out so fans had to queue to get them, postage costs saved by sisu didn't go down to well with pissed off fans who were advised to book online

Great performance from the lads today, Nobule & Jackson looked good after half time and if we can keep them on the pitch together they will cause defenses in this league problems.

The atmosphere was great and the fans under the scoreboard were a credit to the team with constant singing thought.

On the 11k attendance, I have no way of proving it but me and gf who went both felt it looked more than a 3rd full anyhow that's secondary to the result and a well earned 3pts against a tricky Yeovil side who will be top half this season.

Last 2 games we havent jeered our own players!!!! It feels like a fresh start. Im really enjoying my new seats in block 34. Enjoying watching willis in that corner bossing it. Feel for the first time in years that everone is getting behind the team.

When yeovil scored we started singing again with passion. No head dropping. They played like a team

Pusb. Thank you

Cracking atmosphere today sat in block 16 even though we sing it doesn't normally go into blocks 17 and 18 normally.

So well done to 17 and 18 for joining in.

Voice has gone. We smashed it in block 15 today. My annoyance at the attendance aside, it was a top day.
