I am really sorry Otis, I just had a mad 5 minutes. This site worries me sometimes as I react in a way I would never do if I met face to face. I suppose its the passion for the club, and the immense disappointment at our current predicament, the complete mess, and our lack of consistency on the pitch. Its no excuse for me having my moment though, and I must remember to engage brain before posting! :D

As opposed to my good self. My own anthem is 'If I only had a brain.'

Yesterday I was with someone very much in the know, who was involved for a bid for the club when it was coming out of administration. They had email evidence suggesting that:

1) the Wasps move is subject to Chinese investors bank-rolling it; and

2) one of the key players in the move is a former chairman of CCFC

PM me for more.

Would be interesting to see if peoples point of view changed if Wasps were coming to play at the Ricoh but renting it from CCFC with the club getting the benefit of the extra income.

Don't worry about it. I have ever come to blows with a couple of city supporters in all my years of going. And they deserved it. And only argued with a couple more. But if you took me by my posts on here sometimes you would think it is what I enjoy doing most :D

Sisu are being outflanked.
It really is too late for them.

SISU outsmarted, who'd have thought with all the successful intelligent moves they've made since taking us over.

Could be one way to wrestle the club from them I guess. I'm starting to get the impression that there possibly could be a bigger agenda than Wasps rugby club.

Wouldn't hear many complaints from me if it was a take over + Ricoh + Wasps playing their European games there. The stadium would have to remain CCFC decked out though. Maybe I'm just dreaming for the best scenario for CCFC but I'm starting to ponder if this is a real possibility.....

Rightly or wrongly, there are an awful lot of City fans who just want the best for Coventry City FC. After so many years of depression and downtroddenus I can understand why people would feel that way and show a degree of selfishness on such a matter.

As if wasps would take over the Ricoh and want to keep skyblue seats with ccfc branded across the telegraph stand.

I'm sure those with PSL will look forward to sitting on a brand spanking new yellow seat.

And surely what we've learned is that stick CCFC in a bubble, you store up trouble with no ability to fight it.

We must surely be due an upturn in our fortunes soon though shouldn't we?

Feel like we've had the mother of all curses placed upon us.

Agreed. When people say to me "you'll be up there this season" or "you'll be promoted", I just grimace and say nothing, as I know we won't :(

Get the feeling that if we had a last minute pen where a goal would send us to promotion, just as our penalty taker would step up to smash the ball into the net, a mole would pop up on the penalty spot, blow a raspberry and and the then headbutt the ball into the stands.

More likely headbutt the ball into our own net, sending the team we are playing up :(

I'd settle for a 50:50 split of seat colour if it meant the Ricoh was effectively owned by ccfc and benefited from Tina turner concerts.

Unfortunately so long as sisu are at the helm CCFC will never own the Stadium. They will just be tenants of sisu paying sisu X amount in rent.

Yes I can see the debate on SBT if Sisu got the Ricoh things like "Do you remember the days when we were only charged 1.3 million pound a year rent?" " yes but that was too little for a stadium like this"

Given the recent 12 months or so, and the emphasis on the clubs importance to the cities economy, does anyone think that the council would be so callous to approve a deal which, 1. Runs a high risk of ousting ccfc and 2. Runs a risk of seeing the wasps project failing with limited support, for some quick ££££?

This is assuming that ccfc is not involved in any proposed deal of course.

Or am I completely naive here?

Would you trust a liar?

Fisher has constantly said that they are building a stadium in the 'Coventry area'. Joy has said that he doesn't bluster. So if they are not building a stadium they are both liars. So they shouldn't be trusted. That is unless they are building a new stadium. And if so the arena needs another tenant or risk it being a white elephant.

I am not going to argue over points we know nothing about. I don't want them in what should be our home. But without the facts what is the use? But there is one thing for sure. Joy needs to get her hand out of Fishers arse and leave her puppet out of negotiations. Either sort out a long rental agreement or see if Higgs are willing to talk again.
