I am certain that absolutely nothing will be done as a result of Pressley's complaint. The FA/FL simply will not contemplate re-refereeing games, especially as there is no disciplinary appeal involved. As far as refereeing performances are concerned, they do their own assessments so it would be hoped that the match assessor will have picked up on any problems. It is not going to change anything though. Probably best to suck it up and say nowt.
I recall the days when Bobby Gould was manager and he always had plenty to say about referees and their dubious decisions. It always seemed that we got a rough deal around that time and he got a reputation in the game as a whinger. The danger in what Pressley is doing is that he may get a similar reputation. Word gets around in refereeing circles.
