Beretta or Holland & Holland? (Shotgun makers for those who don't know)

Thought it was a typo and you meant Holland and Barrett, cos their sausage rolls are like bullets!

I always think there's an undercurrent when men start "softly thumping each other". I await the next update with interest:

11:34 Goode and Haskell now wresting naked with each other.

'Andy Goode, Dai Young and James Haskell are on the pitch now. Goode and Haskell are at ease, joking and softly thumping each other.'

Can someone go over there and thump them a little but harder!

Takeover was 2 years of meticulous planning.

So back in October 2012 - when sisu were negotiating to buy the Higgs shares - hmmm.
If true that is disgusting!
(And it may give sisu some new ammunition in their JR appeal).

BT Sport are here with their cameras. Ann Lucas is called over for an interview and jokes "yesterday was my day! Today isn't about me!"

Why, yesterday did you get a brand new Land Rover?

Do you think all the pre game picnics in the car parks will impact on the F&B? Do they even sell Champers on the Foleshill Rd? :pimp:

The do a nice line in Cristal in The Hub, or so I've overheard. I think they're talking about Champagne. ;)

sitting next to a wasps fan at work - his view

current crowds around 5k
Expects only around 1k to travel to Coventry (this is similar to % of ccfc fans who went to northampton - so probably about right)

They are relying on attracting local support

With local rugby fans following Cov and Leicester - really cannot see that happening any time soon

It is an interesting one - but unless wasps rebrand/merge with Cov - can see them being swatted away

I hope no one from Coventry attends this

How long can there dream survive on crowds of 1-2k in a 32k seater stadium?

As has been said though, that could be 2 years planning for Wasps. Doesn't mean ACL were involved necessarily at that point.

Fisher blocks the road with his car, claiming oil slick, delaying Wasps executives and Seppala sneaks into the back office of the Higgs charity and does a deal at gunpoint.

Was this not the exact same Sisu tactics used last time they tried to buy the Higgs share ?

"It's about collaboration - not competition. I look forward to the day that Sky Blues fans look at us and say "our home is your home" and vice versa. I'm a realist and realise this will take time, though."

Oh so now they want us to welcome them to our new stadium if it's ever built. Why do I have the sickening image of Tim standing outside our new smaller stadium, arms wide open saying "You should have seen the one that got away, it was this big."

What a depressing day.

No. PWKH tied balloons to Fisher's car.

He was hoping to tie enough so that the car would float away, Mary Poppins style, but he was caught red handed after the very first balloon.

Especially those that boycotted Sixfields.

Didn't say it did. But you are talking about a deal mooted when CCFC were still full paying tenants that had at the time recently expressed an interest in a purchase deal (and yes it did fall through)

All before legal action, and 'distressing' attempts....

I am trying to catch up, so maybe someone has already commented on that.
Anyway, the rental strike was more than 2 years ago (time passes quickly!).
2 years ago the club was not a paying tenant.

You can't angle any good out of this for SISU, they are still very culpable in all of this coming around. It's one shocking fuck up that has been coming since 2001 !

Eastwood: "We will not be Coventry Wasps. We will be Wasps."

Thank fook for that.

It's embarrassing enough as it is.

For now.
We seem to go backwards so we will probably end up with our old club name. If Wasp changes too we will be 'Singers' and 'Stingers'. Awesome.

All this bigging up of the Ricoh today, world class arena, conference facilities, casino, road network, hotel etc. has just confirmed for me how futile and disappointing any new stadium is going to be.

Think CCFC have to just push for a brilliant rental deal and ask for all revenue on match days.

If Wasps really need us that is some strong leverage we have to play with.

They haven't bought the road network, the surrounding land, car parking ?, casino or hotel though have they ?

If I have any protein shake or arse blood on my seat after any of their games I won't be happy.

She was probably handed the keys by that other two faced bitch Grendel

And might we just be that little bit more attractive to buyers now than we were a couple of days ago?

There might be a chance on some collaboration on building on the surrounding land.

I know people wanted the Ricoh and we are pretty worthless, but there may be a bit of money to be made in collaboration with Wasps perhaps.

No thanks I'd rather build a new stadium than become long term tenants to wasps.

We push for a 50% stake in the Ricoh
