For a milli second run with the idea that sisus plan for a new 20k ground right on the edge of the city is possible...
In or out?
Yea I'd be behind a new stadium, hopefully inside the city if possible.
no no no no no

If I believed it was a reality, I've never been against the idea.
They haven't exactly busted a gut to persuade me anything close top what you describe will happen though, have they...
What will the Pro's be NW?
If it was real...
What's wrong with a ground around Warwick Uni, say, owned by the club, having the club's identity not just plastered on with the odd plastic sign and sky blue seat, but actually being part of what *is* the club?
As I said though, our owners aren't exactly likely to come up with that, are they...

I meant financially, not emotionally
Say you could buy the land, pay for the build and all the associated fees, for £25m. Say you could find someone to lend you the money at 4%.
The interest on this would be £1m per year, and that's without paying any of the £25m off.
This is the minimum figure as I think it would cost more to build, and the interest would be higher.
It will kill the club.
We need to agree a rental deal, with some access to match day revenue, at the Ricoh.

Think it was Godiva who came up with the only rational financial reason why.
Alas I can't remember what it was

I think a new ground could kill the club too. I also think it would be an incredible burden on the club whilst in development. Even if money is found from investors for the stadium itself, there are still many other associated costs involved.
A new stadium will just increase the financial burden on the club and indeed all but kill us.
That small paragraph is better than anything I've heard from the mouths of our owners. At this moment in time, that sounds a highly tempting proposition...
Yea because the club has thrived financially whilst at the Ricoh

It hasn't.
Is it wise to increase the financial burden to get returns god knows how many years into the future?
How many years would it be before we could seriously make it pay?
My stance hasn't changed really. If SISU can give a credible business case for a new ground and demonstrate how it will create a sustainable successful club I'd be happy to support it. Obviously dependent on location. Don't think I'm going to get that though. They could have done that when they first started on about the new ground, doesn't' need any sensitive information to be revealed.
Will you buy 10 pies for yourself after paying £25 to get in tho, plus travelling costs, is the question though?
If they're local pies...
No no no Sisu had their chance and fucked it right up. I bet Joys got the legals looking at it right now over the Higgs sale. I hope the wasps owner can eventually buy CCFC and unite both teams under the same ownership model.
