Look on the bright side lads.............. Sunderland got hammered 8-0!

(They'll probably blame us and Jimmy Hill for it, but f**k 'em! Makem twats!)

I did read your post:

Hence I said it was the same argument as when Thorn was here, that is what people said when Thorn was here. That isn't opinion, that is a fact.

I don't expect Pressley to win the league with 120 points, I do expect a bit of fight and passion like the players give a shit. I do expect a bit of a plan B when things aren't going right.

No nerve has been touched, it is you who looks the bellend when you start going off with the Pro SISU / you must work for sisu stuff.

If you are blaming only Pressley and not SISU - you are favouring SISU.

You didn't read my postings properly as I didn't say "you must work for SISU" - I asked a question as to whether you were in their pay. You have clarified you are not....sort of.

I see you didn't highlight my posting where it says "Like I've said before, it looks like he's run out of ideas..." re Pressley.

Oh, and thanks for calling me a bellend and a retard. Smashing.

If SISU are paying me then I would be working for them wouldn't I? Why would they be paying me?

Yes, I am quite clearly saying everything that is happening is Pressley's fault aren't I?

I highlighted the points in your post I was replying to about the Thorn argument to show I had read it to which you replied utter shit. Nobody at all said those things when people said Thorn wasn't very good did they?.

Any manager surely has his ideas in the summer on how he wants to set up, but should this not work an injuries an suspensions set in then a plan b must be in the thinking. Even in a game, sendings off injuries or a poor first half. Get the boys in, big team talk an tweak the tactics to suit what players are on the pitch to get the result. I like pressley but I'm not seeing this.

Having read many posts on here , facebook , twitter etc etc .i cannot believe how genuinely deluded alot of our supporters have become in regards to steven pressley , there are so many supporters refusing to put an ounce of blame on the man to the point where i genuinely dont think its worth moaning about him anymore .
It appears that whilst what we all know , pressley has had a shit hand over the last 15 months , it now excuses him of any criticism in regards to his running of the team .
the delusion is so strong that some supporters still think that pressley is the worst off manager in league 1 budget wise , no other club has to buy as many frees or recruit as many loans as we do .His tactics , inability to change a game , awful record in the market are all sisus , the councils and ACLs fault .
One guy said today we are still playing a team full of kids and that he believes he is one of the best young mnagers in the country , our average squad age is almost 25 btw .
therefore i have simply decided that this is my last post in regards to how shit i believe pressley is as a manager , all i know is that no other manager at any other club , has this undeserved fucking halo around his head after winning 10 league games in the last 45 .
whatever happens happens

I think many allude to the fact that Pressley ain't all that, but are realistic enough to think who would replace him and do any better ? Please no more Gary Megson suggestions either !

That 4 year contract he recently signed off the back off the interest from Huddersfield an others is a heavy weight to pay off I'd imagine. Works on one hand for the club to fend off interested parties but when things go wrong a whip around ain't enough to cancel the deal. Was this wise deal for ccfc at this level of football?

I dont believe any manager should be offered more than 2 years , football is a results business and alot can happen or change in 2 seasons

No.

Is the simple answer.

2 year deals for players or staff at this level is long enough. It's a Poor league an when it's good it good, but when things go wrong as it is.... A 4 year deal is heafty an ties your hands. But to early to panic I'd say just yet but I'd like a change in the tactical approach

I'd like to see him play the formation he bought the likes of O'Brian and Swanson in for.

Too much Barca, World Cup and FIFA 15 in SP's head at the minute IMO.

I'd like to see a more simple approach to it, one that suits the fit first XI to seat out to trouble the opposition. Stop the big long high balls against big defenders. We've quite a pacy side so play in behind them on the deck. With these wing backs if we're gonna play them get them up an down the channels effectively.

Obviously it's not just SP who is to blame but he should shoulder his share. We've got players out with injury and we've sold players who he might have liked to have kept. The problem for me is that he doesn't seem capable of turning round bad game, he doesn't seem to have a plan B. Now I know that I know nothing about football and would be useless as a manager. However even I know that if something isn't working week in week out then it needs to be looked at again. Also there needs to be a back up plan for when things aren't going well or players aren't available.

I'm not saying that I have any of the answers and I'm not saying the manager has to go (yet) but something has to change.

Ok Robo, we'll agree to disagree. But I will finish with one final thing, remind again what you said about Callum Wilson and what happened there...........

I said Callum Wilson wouldn't be sold and subsequently he got sold, "Sometimes you're wrong" - Rule 51
