They've sacked every manager they've had apart from Robins. They're hardly averse to doing it.
Well they sacked Andy Thorne with little left on his contract don't think Waggott was here for his Bothroyd bit different paying up a four year salary.

So we sack another manager... Bring in a new guy.. Then.. very little changes.. " He needs to bring in his own players" "build his own team" " It's a new team, system need to give them time"etc.. 9 months to a year later nothing at all has changed and we're starting to call for another managers head.. and we have once again been diverted from the real crux of the clubs problems by yet another scapegoat.. No manager will do well here unless we have some investment in the team to at least a competitive level..

I'm not calling for SP's head just yet but like with Thorn, what's the point in keeping someone in charge who is not getting results or who is the wrong man for the job?

Exactly the point. Whether we keep or sack Pressley, whether we play 4-4-2, 3-5-2 or whatever, none of this will make any real difference, it is simply rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic. We need new owners who want to see the club succeed and progress, and who have serious funds to make it happen. The problem is that such investors are not queueing round the block, and all the baggage from the last few years is likely to deter anyone interested. The other issue is that the club has no assets and is effectively worthless so the best we can hope is that Sisu give it away to someone with funds. Don't hold your breath!

We do have investment to be competitive in this division at least, which we haven't been doing over the last 10 months

I agree with this. He would get the right players in on a tight budget. He is proven. It would be shit football but it works. Depends how you see it I guess results or performance. For me it's results. It's a results business.

I remeber the game against yeovil the year they went up and we got beat 3-0 by crewe in the jpt at the Ricoh we all know and then on the Saturday we got beat 1-0 by yeovil in a classic performance. We dominated and yeovil got one through Paddy madden and held on. Done it all year and got promoted with 850k budget roughly half of ours.

I agree.
He was horrendous at Northampton. Just awful and released loads of good players. We almost went out of the league.
Also think hes spent a fair bit this season at Yeovil and look where they are.
Certainly wouldn't be a yes man to SISU if he was in the job.

Back when I was boycotting a SISU led CCFC before we went to Northampton ;) I did a little mini tour of grounds, took in Cheltenham v Northampton at Sixfields.

You looked good before you went behind a bit unluckily. Once he made subs to try and chase the game though it was carnage, complete disorganisation and everyone seemed to be running in random directions!

Now Lewis Young actually looked alright... but his career hasn't exactly hit the heights since!
