I went to the Bristol game on Saturday came out of there saying we are facing relegation, we don't concede good goals every goal that goes in against us is just plain and simple shit defending. Couple that with the fact we create half chances at best and it's going to be a very long season, this is what happens when you rebuild your squad every season with lesser quality players than the year before.

That's a very key part of a keeper's make up. Instill confidence in your back four by showing command and authority.

Allsop shows neither. Even if he is not responsible for individual goals at times, he looks nervous and edgy and that has to give the dfence the jitters.

I'm sorry but if he isn't willing to realise what doesn't work then it may be time to go. Add on to that the inability to defend and deal with a long ball, this is going to be one long hard season. Can't help think that the right manager could get so much more out of this squad we have.

It's very worrying the amount of goals we are giving away to the long ball. 2 against Crawley, 1 against Bristol and once again tonight.

Needs to be a flat back four IMO. So take off one of the CB's and make it more solid (well in formation terms anyway, not necessarily personnel as the way these are defending right now, they are far from being 'solid').
