...whist we have same two muppets running the football team. New ceo Steve Waggott and new chairman Tim Fisher are the two running the club, implementing their policies on how the club should be run, who are sold, who are signed, who gets does or doesn't get offered a contract, I also believe the move to Northampton was their idea totally and Sepalla didn't get involved until the shit hit the fan and national publicity even government got interested, of course she backed them, officially.

I have been on Waggotts case for ages an absolute con-man imo. But look at our record since he arrived, slowly but surely down, down, down. For over 2 years now we have had distractions clouding our on the field demise, Sixfields, administration, court cases, transfer embargos, on going dispute with the council, the on off Ricoh return and now this Wasp scenario, but now there is nothing to hide behind our predicament is staring us all in the face and I see no improvement while the muppets remain don't care who the manager is. Joy Sepalla needs to jettison the two of them and employ someone with a provern record of running a football club properly and she might start to see a little improvement in her football finances.

Remember the muppets ran Charlton Athletic into division 3. Their record is there for all to see.

Until you find a way to increase the money coming in the problem will not go away.

I wonder if Sisu would go for a 'If we promise to fill the ground to full capacity for the next 6 home games, will you promise to fook off?'

Did all the other clubs in L1 spend money then? Or are other managers in similar positions faring rather better?

Pressley has had all his best players sold from underneath him the minute they become valuable, and had his budget cut year on year That is a hopeless way to run any football club. He's worked miracles in my view but he no longer has players good enough to play in the style he likes.

It always makes me laugh that fans expect someone to gift the club millions and millions of pounds and then leave quietly when their money runs out.

Then his job as a manager is to get the players he has at his disposal to play a style they can play, regardless of whether he likes it or inot.

Three points from a football match always worth more than a "Ten from Len" for artistic merit.

Worry about grinding out a few results and instilling a winning mentality first, style will come more easily and naturally with a confident team, something that it seems we are far from now.

In the third division, a manager being heavily constricted in the players they sign and lose is hardly a rarity. Let's not allow the ill-feeling towards the owner blind us to the shortcomings of the other people who can win football matches.

Obviously I mean the worm season ticket holders, weeeeeeeeeeeeeey

If we had 20 000 every week and the up and coming young players start to fly do we actually think any money will come to the team side? The answer is no, players worth their salt will be sold, young players will be sold and any money coming in will go back into Sisus bank as a return of investment.
Pressley looks to have signed some crap players and he looks to have lost the teams backing. Other managers seem to have little money but they use the players to the best they can and throw in a mix of journey men who know how to win in this division by playing hard, falling at every opportunity and using experience to see games out. Something we dont have.

You make a valid point in principle but the problem is as soon as we start picking up and doing well again, our players get noticed and become valuable again and low and behold SISU decide to sell them off for a short term profit hence we back to square one .

Lord ... we stuck in this vicious circle with them and this is just making it more and more difficult for any manager and team to progress. It starts to show a lack of ambitions in many people eyes in footballing world.

We are slowly and painfully becoming the British Leyland of football under our current owners.

Please tell me where SISU said i gift millions,, they gambled and are losing.. They haven't, didn't gift fuck all, they invested and wanted a missive profit.. They messed up, so keep laughing but you are looking at it the wrong way,, if they made 10 mill profit on the sale of CCFC do you think they would leave 5mill for fans to have a party....They had a plan to invest to gain promotion to the prem and sell the club or buy the Rcoh and sell both together in prem for a massive gain..And that is fact stated by your own TF live on radio and said in front of the forum.....

They didn't have plan B,, they are still working on how to get the GIFT as you put it back,, blind follower.. And the quicker everyone gets on that these owners don't care for the fans the sooner they may look to get out....

hahaha, i'm not a SISU follower. I have said multiple times that they are terrible owners. Anyone who is putting money into a club is going to want it back at some point, or do you think that someone is just going to come along and give the club money. I didn't say that SISU gifted the club money either.

I agree 100% we have terrible owners. But i have never seen any gifts in money terms given to any club by owners.....

14 out of the 24 teams in league one paid a fee for a player this summer. Not a very good indication though because they are very spread out across the league, although five out of the top six spent money, so did six teams currently in the bottom half of the table, which includes the bottom two sides.

You could argue other managers are faring better, most of the teams in this league have made wholesale changes to their squad usually because championship teams come knocking and have replaced there players better. Oldham a good example, 12 in 12 out in the summer, probably on a tighter budget, currently sitting pretty.

We have been told what our budget is. But how much of it has been used for players wages that are with us now, how much of it is for players we are still paying but have left and how much of the budget is so far unused?

I would hardly say miracles , we had a team that was far too good not to pull back the 10 points last season , he has won 10 of the last 45 league games , hardly the work of a miracle worker

But do you think we are paying our players the 5th lowest in the league? For the players we have here now? I don't.

Other teams may be paying people off too or not using their budget.

Not all rosy at Oldham. Progress on their new stand has ground to a halt as contractors haven't been paid.

We can only go by the rough estimates released that said we were in the top 8 (I think it was wasn't it). I would hazard a guess our wage budget is more than Crewe's.

Were they for this year ? Who's estimates ?

Genuine questions as I don't know the source.

I wish our supporters would use a brain sometimes before calling for the head of yet another manager.
Sure, SP is not having the best of times at the minute and its looking bad but how many of these players were his 1st/2nd choice? Would they have been signed if we were a more stable run club?
Take your sky blue spectacles off for a minute. If you were a player, would you have signed for us? I certainly would have not.

Baker, Clarke, Moussa, Wilson - How many goals and assists have we lost in these players?
Murphy - How many 'points' were his saves worth last season?

We have been a badly run club now for around 15+ years and it will NOT get better until things are sorted out at boardroom level.

Crewe will be a bottom 4 budget, likely the lowest in the league. It wouldn't be surprise me if our budget was 3 or 4 times theres.

Is that the same deployment of a brain when most wanted to retain thorn.

Pressley has signed poorly. Tudgay and Jackson will not be on a paupers wage by his leagues standard but cannot even make the team.

Swanson was offered a deal at Peterborough but chose here. Even the disaster Barton is now above him in the pecking order.

Defensively the team is poor.

He should be given 3 or 4 games but there has to be questions about him and if you trust his transfer selections come January.

3 or 4 games is about right. Would give a new manager a bit of chance for dealing in the transfer window.

We have had 10 months of very poor performances.

Pressley has amassed a group of journeymen and plays them in a formation that's proved time and again not to work.

Some are still okay with it, so may as well carry on.

He said we had a budget of 2.7m He didn't say that our wage bill is 2.7m.

I am not saying thatour wage bill is the 4th highest or the 24th. But I will say that Fisher twists the truth at best.

They didn't gift the club millions and millions. They made a bad investment and blew millions and millions, got the club relegated, lost the JR and allowed Wasps to sneak into the Ricoh whilst concentrating on litigation and a bullshit stadium.

Yes, I do expect them to leave - quietly or loudly - but leave ffs.
