..... yes in the first half we didn't trouble Argyle enough in attack .....

You think? We did not have a single shot on goal the entire 45 minutes. That is simply an unacceptable performance for a team with any ambition at all.

3 shots on target all game...incl the 2 goals.
First half was boring Webster kept giving the ball away.
In the final third they just ran out of ideas, 2nd half marginally better but overall I think Plymouth and cov were 2 very similar teams....poor

The next league game will be critical

I thought it was the perfect performance tonight, yes in the first half we didn't trouble Argyle enough in attack, but they were restricted to nothing. We passed the ball around and looked like we could create.

Second half was much better, we looked as if we were in total control and I thought there was only going to be one team who won the game in the end, bringing Nouble on was instrumental, Frank won us the corner which our first goal came from and did really well for the second goal, people said he plays lazy, I disagree, when he has the ball at his feet and is taking defenders on he looks a constant threat and does link well with the midfield, but Nouble is not the type of striker who will run the channels.. We all need to accept that.

Plymouth had one chance after we were already 1-0 up, I genuinely think we played really well tonight and we got the right result. Some will pick bones at the first half, but we were patient and we didn't keep going for the jugular constantly, we were persistent in our player and thoroughly got we deserved.

Admire your positivity Robbo but have to agree with those saying that going for a whole 45 mins at home without troubling their keeper or even having a corner is a big worry and number of unforced errors was very poor. Second half we were better and Nouble's goal was great, but the overall performance still left me fearing for the rest of the season - but will be very happy to be proved wrong!

Given how poor we were against Worcester and the Pressley rant we were dire again tonight for 65 minutes. The Nouble substitution was crucial. Completely changed a game that was otherwise certainly heading to penalties. Good result though but shouldn't let it detract from the fact that there is a huge amount of improvement required still!

Very ture, to say it was a perfect response is a daft comment. for the majority of the game we were poor last night. First half was truly shocking. Offered nothing going forward. Nouble was the game changer but so he should be. he's a 18k a week player. I do fear the worse for saturday. Its mid november and were no closer to what our best starting 11 is which is a worry.

Maybe we should turn the pitch around at least then when we are going sideways(90% of the game) we could actually be attacking:)

Seriously nearly all of them are looking behind for a pass no forward thinking Hines passed the pall on a couple of occasions kept on running for the return and yes we passed backward must be really frustrating.
Need singers Corner to get behind Mad Al a bit more and start singing Forward,Forward:)

Didn't miss much then I take it? Was at the o2 in London for the Djokovic match. No phone battery with a Forest fan next to me. Kept bugging him to tell me the score every 5 mins. When he told me we were 1-0 up I didn't believe him and asked to check his phone :)

Two banks of four
Midfield flat thus the sideways passing and to distant from the strikers majority of time
Maddison was dangerous to an extent with his pace bit the balls played through to him were overweight on the 3-4 attempts to play him In
We are a much better team when we keep It on the dec,, even in its current poor state
No doubt In my mind Frank's the best striker on our books
If all Pressley wants people running around headless then the Strikers will always be Isolated while the team doesn't move as unit as they press
