I don't think anyone is praising the Wasps really.
We just get pissed off with people deflecting the real problem which is Sisu.

Sisu must be sitting there relaxing as these few bleat on about something we have had no influence on.
It looks like it's the same people who made a case for Sixfields, slagged off the Ricoh, allowed Sisu to get away with it and indirectly influenced the situation.

You are an idiot.

I beg to differ. I've certainly not made a case for Sixfields or ever defended SISU that I'm aware, but I'm certainly not happy with Wasps being allowed to buy 100% of ACL for 250-years.

As for bleating about a situation that I cannot influence (other than perhaps via a personal choice to boycott), I'd say that sums up about 99% of the traffic on this forum. :)

Is that the same as realistic ?

Nope, it's the same as being the root cause of this.

Those most disengenuous, most keen to point fingers and deflect are those like you, with most to feel guilty about...

I must have been imagining all those begging for them to take us over then

So although I have never wanted them anywhere near Coventry I am not allowed to come out with the truth?

Have they ended up with what should have been our stadium?

They have even gone as far as mentioning different drinks for different supporters and making sure that drinks prices are not too high. They certainly have a plan on going forward where our clubs owners for many years have not. Or is the problem that it makes SISU look bad? If that is the case would you like to say what makes them look good?

Never gave up. Unless you count Sixfields.
I said I would if they stayed at Sixfields, so did thousands more.

It influenced Sisu and I hold my head up high.
That's right you never gave up, you just came on here every week claiming you were leaving. Then you have the audacity to come on here accusing people of bleating. You really couldn't make it up.

I'm sure the Wasps forum would welcome you with open arms. Do us all a favour.

Thats right, bleating about our crap owners in a hope to get us back.
Are you saying you didn't?

I can be on both forums. Same name.

And you have agreed with those having a dig at me for speaking the truth. I don't like the way that Wasps have done what SISU should have done. But I am not going to ignore the truth.

Ha, the 'truth'.

Funny word that. Is it a simple sword of truth you choose to wield?

Funny you choose to intervene and stand up for a moron who spends his time having a go at other posters eh... funny as well you choose to associate me with others. I am my own man with my own mind... I know that might be a concept beyond you.

You're absolutely right, in fact more owners should follow there example. Where do you want us to relocate to? I'm thinking Wigan or Blackburn or something.

OK, then. So people going to Sixfields índirectly ínfluenced' SISU and helped, by your reasoning, to ensure we didn't get a slice of the Ricoh pie? I presume then you would also level the same reasoning to those who wrote to the Council asking them not to ever sell any of ACL to our owners?

I don't think anyone is praising the Wasps really.

It's ACL or IEC you should be complaining to about the beer. Fuck all to do with SISU. Not that facts ever get in the way of another misplaced diatribe.

I still think I am the only one who thinks it is a coincidence that we came back and a couple of weeks later wasps bought the Ricoh?

Why do certain people on here have to stick together and attack posts from other people not in full agreement with themselves?

I never stuck up for anyone. The questions were asked in this thread. I replied to the questions with my thoughts. But these certain people are now adding me to the attack list........as usual. What a fucking joke. Please let me know what I am allowed to discuss so the normal crew don't attack what I say.

And yes Wasps do seem to have a plan and are putting it into action. And yes they have what should have been our home. So NW which part of this isn't true? This is all that I said. You agreed with others that were having a go at me and have now joined in. But what is wrong in pounting out where I am wrong instead of joining in with the normal crew on personal attacks?

GMK MK 2 coming up here. 'Say what we agree with or we will have you over it. You are not allowed an opinion.'

We are fucked without a good rental agreement. Shafted by everyone involved.

The one good thing is Fisher has shut his big gob at last. No more new stadium bullshit.

Do you want the full list of things they are looking to do for their own supporters as well as visiting supporters?

Nah fuck it. Just a reason for you to have a dig at someone as usual.

What do you think is going on?

I just think it is strange how we had crap attendances for a year, losing money etc and then we come back just as Wasps are buying us. I think that SISU got wind of it and brought us back to maybe try and make it harder for it to go through maybe? Just think it is too much of a coincidence that they suddenly started worrying about the losses just as wasps were buying ACL then rushed back shitting themselves.

Well if SISU had acted reasonably they could have had at least 50% if not all of ACL but they know best.

The 50% deal for ACL on offer has been proven to be one nobody wanted.

Arguably, there was no need for the parties to move on said deal as long as the club took no confrontational action. Statements in the media from various parties undoubtedly back up this supposition. Conversely, statements from the club undoubtedly show they had no interest in the stadium as that would require a long term commitment. It does appear all parties were happy with the status quo, and had no desire to attempt to move from it. As soon as they did... then that's where trouble reared its ugly head.

36.7%, 36.6%, 36.7%

Six of one... 110% of the other.

So, what does this show? Ultimately it shows the folly of being taken over by a financial institution with a reputation for no compromise. However, take this out the equation and Wasps have indeed proven that the setup as constituted was flawed, and that nobody would go near it under those circumstances. It also shows why Wasps were never, *never* going to go in 50/50 with CCFC... or anybody else, for that matter.

However... what's done is done. And the approaches now have to be (with shades of grey in between):

Hope that CCFC grind out Wasps in terms of who loses most money quickest, and are able to move in when Wasps bog off;

Accept CCFC will be limited in what they can achieve, and campaign for a rental deal with Wasps/ a partnership with Aston Villa and/or Leicester City;

Campaign for both SISU and CCC to get together for consultation on where a ground could and should be built within the city;

Write to every possible white knight in the world;

Go for the extreme option, and get it over with quickly by campaigning for the club to be wound up, so it can start afresh (maybe at the Butts?) and have a chance to grow organically to its 'natural' level, unfettered by the past, legacy debts, and historic grievances.

Or... we can hunt out a scapegoat, where they all probably deserve to be anyway.

...and just after they'd got an unexpected £3mil for Wilson, too.

We were also signing the likes of O'Brien and Johnson up too; not the act of a club so desperate it was intending to rely solely on the players left at the club.

The remarkable thing is you intervene when I quote Italiahorse, and reply to him.

It's almost like you're feeling slightly nervous that you are indeed an idiot, when I never even mentioned you!

I'm with you on that. One minute there's no way we're coming back then it's a mad panic to get back. Something happened, just not sure what.

Part of me thinks, or maybe hopes would be more accurate, that even SISU can't be this incompetent to let the ground be purchased by Wasps while just standing by so either they're going to pull a master stroke or they're incompetent beyond belief, I know which option my money is on.

What IS funny how you never thought that when 95% of posters agreed with your biased and blinkered view of the world.

Now a lot of those have fucked off or kept quiet following recent events it's just a few of you who now look a bit odd with your skewed views.

Or they hoped the fans would suddenly think the Ricoh was home and kick off so much it didn't go through? I don't know, just think its weird.

I don't think they would have just suddenly realised about how much money they were losing, it wasn't as if the attendances just got bad so they rushed back.

So why do you think that it was all done so quickly? They didn't even have something in place for our STH's, and they are the lifeblood of our club.

Yeah either that, or they hoped CCFC in place would stop Wasps being able to have total flexibility with what they wanted to do, and so discourage them from going through with the deal.

Which is what most of us would agree with.

Their plan had failed. There was someone else interested in the Ricoh. The problem was they had repeatedly burned bridges. And then Fisher still said that they were looking to build their own stadium :jerkit:

When Fisher shook hands on the £400k a year rental deal presumably that was before the lease was broken??

If so, that would have been a good deal, we'd still get the pitch side advertising revenue, the shop, the dingy offices etc. and we wouldn't have left for Northampton. It could have all been so different.
