So the 2 apparant ccfc fans reps have said 2 completely different things.

Sure guys...you really represent the fans. Seems Sisu's smoke and mirrors continues...lol

In all seriousness what is the reason for not announcing the preferred site.
Originally joy stated it was because of the council.
However now the council are no longer involved.
If it was commercial confidentiality. Would that not be things such as price terms and conditions ect...
Competitors? Is it likely anyone looking for that size of land would not already be aware of it?

This is a genuine question why would you not reveal the location?

It's fairly obvious they have seen where it's supposed to be the guy on the radio just wasn't sure what to say.

IMO the sooner they get a bid in for land and a realistic plan together, that seems feasible and plausible. Plonk that in front of wasps so it no longer sounds like hot air. Also put in front of wasps a clear and tempting business plan. That makes it worthwhile for CCFC not leaving. Yet also benefits wasps if CCFC stick around. Get the long term rent deal done.

I assume this is a joke . If they really were going to build (they won't) then get out of the bloody place ASAP.

Funny that how when some when some talk to Sisu they get all tongue tied and sheepish, must be love in the air.

I don't believe they will either, I think it is just a bargaining tool. So I just want them to hurry up and get to point and try and do the deal with wasps.
Otherwise they will piss around for a couple of years building up to it hoping at the sane time that wasps may struggle and keep pushing it and pushing it until it is too late......
Sound familiar?

Do you really think it was the council who approved the current terms and not wasps? They will want the club on a short term deal.

To see how they go and how wasps go. If they don't need them dump them if they do and the club haven't gone anywhere in 4 years screw them with a huge rent.

You didn't listen to it then fair enough, Mr Ward said that they had seen documents relating to the sites witheven the post codes blacked out and all he knew that the preffered site was within the Coventry boundary there you are, hope that helps.

In 4 years, cant the club just move to Northampton if the rent is too much ?

I imagine Wasps have put a bit more thought into their business plan than that.

Regardless of how well Wasps are doing, why would they want to turn down the additional revenue associated with the football club playing there?

What financial advantages would there be to that?

That statement does not make sense.

Best quote 'And a degree of patience is required by the fans'.

Are you fucking kidding me?? Patience?! Our clubs been in dire straights for 10 fucking years.

We deserve positive news and advancement on future and we deserved it years ago.

Wankers, the lot of them.

As is quite obvious if you really believe in a new stadium after hearing some real guff the last 2 years then you are a lost cause and this latest statement is utter drivel. If it wasn't the club I loved so much I would piss myself.

It's quite obviously sisu have no where to run and need a rental deal and see the club as a mini package and finally get out of here and never to be seen again.

Read this whole thread through and luckily not person has said they actually believe in this new stadium shich probes you can't fool the fans can you? Thank God.

Absolutely pathetic and hopefully the only people wasting their time is the people going to this meetings. As for strange and fans representation these fans are just sisu puppets who agree with what they say and no questions.

Pathetic and embarrassing. It really is a massive shame.

Wasps will want the club there for extra funds.
We need to be there as the alternatives are not viable.
We just need the negotiations to not be conducted in the style we have become accustomed to, it doesn't work.

Not at the current rent deal terms they will not.

Why call 2 stooges in and then show them documents with blacked out post codes - but still claim that the post codes are in Cov? Pure theatre. Either you show the fans ( e.g. Here or trust ) or you don't say anything ( if it is sensitive ). To invite people to not show them where it is, is plain bullshit.

If those revenues are handed to the club then Wasps see no benefit but have to cater for our presence by things like investing in extra pitch maintenance. We should have access to the money raised as a result of us being there, Wasps will want a cut of it-it just doesn't work unless they are doing so well that they can afford to give up that slice of income. Make no mistake, in 4 years time we will either be turfed out or charged to the hilt.
