I think that there being "supporter representation" on or talking to the Board has to be a "good thing".

As many have pointed out however, it's pretty much inevitable that the people in question will be subject to at least a degree of confidentiality.

Given that, it would have been sensible to ensure that the representatives chosen had at least a degree of credibility with at least a significant proportion of the wider supporter base. Or to put it another way, better not to choose people who (rightly or wrongly) are perceived as being unusually supportive of our owners.

How can these people consider to represent myself or the other fans of this club that are constantly lied by the sham management that they are getting in to bed with? I did not vote for them, I do not know them and they do not know me, but they think they are speaking for me. Any body heard of a book called 1984? This is utter bollocks, Jan, I hope you and other members of the Trust can protest in the strongest terms allowable! Sisu are trying to run everything through dictatorship, I think its time for NOPM again and starve these rancid scumbags out of our club.

You do no the trust have representatives on the SCG?

Should have picked me I would have gone to one meeting told all and then get kicked off

If everything is being kept a secret and confidential in these board meetings, then to me, this is not having fan's representation on the board, this is not open dialogue with the fans, rather two individuals saying me me I want to lick arse pick me.
What a load of utter dog shit yet again from the SCG and the trust, but then again, what do we expect.
Dictatorship of the highest order throughout, and the SCG and the trust buy it everytime.

Time for proper action again I believe, real action, none of this panzying around, starve the fuckers out, they have nowhere to go, no land, no fantasy stadium, no real future vision for this football club.

So, Wasps and CCC hiding behind confidentiality is OK and understandable, but not the club?

Club in CCFC's context is where fans congregate to watch their Football team play. If they do not receive the crucial information on
where that venue is they will not be attending. Simples really.

Just to be clear the rest of the SCG - which currently includes the Sky Blue Trust - have NOT been informed by Mr Strange and Mr Ward of the details of the board meeting which they were at representing the SCG. The Trust is not with holding the information - we, along with other SCG members, have simply not been told. Maybe something will be issued to fellow members but at last night SCG meeting all Mr Strange would say was that a statement would be issued by the club today - didn't go down well with some in attendance, especially those who had travelled long distances to be told that!

Kick them out then. They are clearly not representing SCG nor the 99.5% of the balance of ccfc supporters who think the the SCG is bull

How would that actually work, is there any means for members of the SCG to get voted out? How did the members get picked in the first place?

You would think that running a supporters group with real members and regular contact would be a minimum requirement for having a place on the SCG. Is that not the case?

Isn't this Jonathon Strange London based ? So with a city population of over 300000 and despite having Sky Blue Trust representatives falling over themselves to be popular and allowing Fisher and Waggott together and separately in recent times to address their meetings we can only have two hand picked individuals and one of those living over a 100 miles away co-opted to this board. A fucking joke.

Like all but a few thousand of the 300K give a flying fuck about the club (unless we're playing Chelsea etc)...

apparently not

You would also think that the SCG would have agreed a terms of reference before the meeting for their representative and it be clear before the meeting what could and couldn't be talked about openly. By doing what they have done has basically weakened the argument and purpose of representation, and left two reps open to criticism. That criticism is not easily deflected because the two have no real basis with the fans. All a bit pointless really. Only ones to gain are TF & co who can claim to be consulting fans and can dodge any questions by claiming it should be done through Ward & strange

Ashby did the SCG nominate these individuals to represent the SCG at these meeting and then Report back?

Mmmm. It sounds like the SCG is a pointless exersize from a fans point of view. Which is a shame. Because it really shouldn't be.

Who are these two plonkers stating they represent the fans?

If there is meant to be fan representation then they are meant to report back to the fans.

Sound more like Sisu's way of getting Nazi spies into ccfc fan base and trying to spin for them.

If you are a member of one of the made up fan groups then you should get them out with a vote of no confidence.

Utter bollox

I have absolutely no idea. I was being a tad ironic (Sorry it was not meant to be so obscure)

The whole lot are a bunch of egotistical no mates as far as it is possible to check. Isn't SCG Fisher' pool of Panderers?

Did Mr Strange discus with rest if the group putting a thread on here. So we can supply him with our views concerns and questions to be raised at board meetings?

Of course there's a difference. You're only bothered about Wasps.

Theres a difference.
CCC/Wasps are keeping the details of a deal confidential while it is completed.
Sisu are keeping quiet because they have nothing going on but they need to make people believe they have.

Oh yeah, wasn't he going on about something he knew which would all soon be revealed? What was that all about LAST?

Right there, "good news coming soon, but can't say anymore, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, etc".

Even if the stadium goes ahead...,it will not be ready for at least 4 years ( planning, tendering, building, correcting the cock ups). What have we lost since the discussions in 2012? League status, a year of crap attendances in Northampton, thousands of fans, managers, Players ( some good at scoring goals, others playing better for other clubs), a stadium in Cov ( which we could have got with a cooperative attitude) etc.. How many years will it take with a smaller stadium near Cov and with lower attendances to get back What we have lost in money and quality? In which year can SISU tell us it was all worthwhile for CCFC? I am nearly 60 and average life span is around 80. I don't see us back to where we were before SISU in my life time if this stadium goes ahead.

4 years, baloney, a realistic time frame, from conception to fruition for a project like that is 10 years, I'm thinking there are 8 more years to go, if it ever happens that is.

Even if it does materialise, did the fans ever want it, I don't think so.

Actually I think the two gentlemen are ideal trainee members of the board. On the OFFICIAL Mr Strange says that the preffered site was revealed, yet on CWR this evening Mr Ward said that it hadn't when it was pointed out what Mr Strange had said that there was a bit of confusion. So in essence this is a partnership made in heaven:eek::facepalm:

Its amazing how often anyone involved with the new stadium is "mis-quoted".

I do not think that Strange and Ward represent fans views so I would not defend them as representatives, but, in defence of their silence, they probably are subject to restrictions in what they can communicate to fans. I suspect that the Trust would be in the same position if they had been invited to the board meeting.

I think the Trust were aware, in advance of others, of the move back to the Ricoh and did not communicate it, for good reason.

It would make a lot more sense to have Trust representatives attend the board meeting as they can communicate the majority of fan views since they are elected fan representatives.

Apparently all the names addresses and etc were redacted out of the documents that Ward & Strange saw. So they do not know the location. Ward totally contradicted Strange's statement as to location even when it was read to him. Ward was quite adamant he was at the meeting with Fisher, Waggott and Brookfield in London and he doesnt know the address of the site. Said minutes were taken by someone called Laura but no one from SISU there (but would that be Laura Deering - Seppala's PA?) He did say the site he believed was within the Coventry boundary.

To be honest I dont know what to believe, more muddying of the water, gives me no faith in what either of them say and as such just proves to be a bit of another PR disaster for the club........ how I wish that were rare and unusual for CCFC and SISU

I don't live locally but everytime SISU building a new stadium actually in Coventry is mentioned all the responses are how there's not a suitable site yet now we have Ward saying he doesn't know where it is but it's in the city and Strange knows where it is but can't tell anyone.

It's just as well nobody but our own supporters are paying attention to what's going on here because if they were we'd be a complete laughing stock.
