To be honest, the council house on a tuesday afternoon when nobody really knew about it doesn't really show much.

As as to freebies, Wasps are trying to engage with the community, their initiative should be applauded.

Yes and the Wasps owners are angels in comparison, according to many on here, despite permanently moving their fans' club 80 miles up the road, and coming up with such gems as "it will make it easier for most fans to attend"

Thays the sad thing. He really doesn't. Wasps are just another to add to the list of people/companies that he holds accountable for the fortunes of our club over our owners.

I think you will find that they are targeting new fans in this area.
Time will tell how many are interested.
Even so they believe they will have the highest turnover in Premier division.

They do have choice. For one thing they could choose not to attend much in the same way as most of us didn’t attend Northampton.
Seems as though we don’t have any choice in being tenants to Wasps though; need to deal with it but appears many can’t.

Tell you what though they got 750 of their season ticket holders up here the other week. We couldn't get that number to go to Fishers fans forums before we went to Northampton and there were three of them and they were in Coventry what does that tell you?

Ok. Their fans are upset and have to come 80 miles. Let's let them vote with their feet. As a comparison let's see how their first gate compares to ours in Northampton. We only had to travel 34 miles and were just as upset- so ( based on travel time and expense ) they should get half of ours. Or maybe some people on here are wrong and Wasps' move was far more sensible than Tim's and their fans will accept it. Proving once again that SISU have ruined our "Brand" and Wasps' have improved theirs by moving to Cov. Our home. My tip is well over 20000 comparison to 2000+. 10:1 Wasps.
With regards to the Northampton saga the vast majority of everyone in Coventry was against the move, even the few that went were not happy but some could not give up going it was so much part of there life. That was there choice and most just accepted the fact they made a choice.
Regarding the Wasps,it's seems that the vast majority of people from Coventry are behind this move as its good for the City, the few who are against it are a minority and that's a few Coventry fans.
We have to accept they now own the RIcoh and we have to hope they do a decent job, why fight them it's not going to change anything. Maybe the owners of our club can learn from these people?

Very happy about the big crowd anticipated for the curtain raiser, inflated by thousands upon thousands of freebies and the novelty factor. Don't recall us offering any freebies and still racking up 27k for the 'homecoming' against Gillingham, which was capped by safety restrictions. The invisible PR machine has done well so far, but let's see if it can beat the worst PR operation of all time's result.
