So Moonshine is not owned by a hedge fund? That's interesting.

Are you sure there were a lot if free tickets at Wycombe? 50% were season ticket holders weren't they ? According to Eastwood 80% of fans will come to the Ricoh. Why the need for so many freebies - is the product that bad?

Why not go and crawl back up your mate Nicks bottom where you were born.

If a bad product was what determined the number of free tickets, then shouldn't SISU be spraying out loads to get people to watch the team they've assembled?

Like you all did outside the council house? I've been against this from the start I'm not revlling in anything, just pointing out how our stupid incompetent owners have been shown up for what they are.
To be honest, the council house on a tuesday afternoon when nobody really knew about it doesn't really show much.

Although you have stated many times you are against it anyway.

Nick Eastwood confirmed the hedge fund point. Not therefore interesting, just a fact that doesn't fit your agenda.

As as to freebies, Wasps are trying to engage with the community, their initiative should be applauded.

Wasps product - they play in the premiership and the top tier of European rugby. Sounds good to me.

Born out of Nick's bottom - biologically impossible.

in my opinion, the ire should not be aimed at Wasps, look closer to home. And I suspect you know that.

Yes and the Wasps owners are angels in comparison, according to many on here, despite permanently moving their fans' club 80 miles up the road, and coming up with such gems as "it will make it easier for most fans to attend"

The Wasps fans appeared initially hugely against it. And now?

Thays the sad thing. He really doesn't. Wasps are just another to add to the list of people/companies that he holds accountable for the fortunes of our club over our owners.

Yes it was known about posted on here, how many times were the protests in London slagged off on here because they were on a Saturday with the usual there's nobody there, why don't you hold it midweek etc etc? So there'sw all the councellors looking out the window with more media than fans thinking they must be all for it:facepalm:Now you come on here and everybody is up in arms about it:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

I think you will find that they are targeting new fans in this area.
Time will tell how many are interested.

Even so they believe they will have the highest turnover in Premier division.

And now they don't have a choice? So Need to deal with it?

They do have choice. For one thing they could choose not to attend much in the same way as most of us didn’t attend Northampton.

Seems as though we don’t have any choice in being tenants to Wasps though; need to deal with it but appears many can’t.

Tell you what though they got 750 of their season ticket holders up here the other week. We couldn't get that number to go to Fishers fans forums before we went to Northampton and there were three of them and they were in Coventry what does that tell you?

One of many similar comments:

'The final betrayal of your long suffering fans. You took Wasps an hour down the M40 to the far end of a trading estate and wondered why your crowds went down .You now use this as an excuse to move into the midlands, even farther away. You are presumably hoping to take support from Lecester and Northants. You are committing commercial suicide. Wasps are a WEST LONDON club. Wake up before you destroy the club I have supported for 25 years or more.'

Intheknow, are you proud?

Ok. Their fans are upset and have to come 80 miles. Let's let them vote with their feet. As a comparison let's see how their first gate compares to ours in Northampton. We only had to travel 34 miles and were just as upset- so ( based on travel time and expense ) they should get half of ours. Or maybe some people on here are wrong and Wasps' move was far more sensible than Tim's and their fans will accept it. Proving once again that SISU have ruined our "Brand" and Wasps' have improved theirs by moving to Cov. Our home. My tip is well over 20000 comparison to 2000+. 10:1 Wasps.

With regards to the Northampton saga the vast majority of everyone in Coventry was against the move, even the few that went were not happy but some could not give up going it was so much part of there life. That was there choice and most just accepted the fact they made a choice.
Regarding the Wasps,it's seems that the vast majority of people from Coventry are behind this move as its good for the City, the few who are against it are a minority and that's a few Coventry fans.
We have to accept they now own the RIcoh and we have to hope they do a decent job, why fight them it's not going to change anything. Maybe the owners of our club can learn from these people?

Very happy about the big crowd anticipated for the curtain raiser, inflated by thousands upon thousands of freebies and the novelty factor. Don't recall us offering any freebies and still racking up 27k for the 'homecoming' against Gillingham, which was capped by safety restrictions. The invisible PR machine has done well so far, but let's see if it can beat the worst PR operation of all time's result.

No, you're babbling shite as usual. What's up, is not having your tag team partner around upsetting you. I'm sure he'll be along soon.

Don't need any help from anybody you're easy, learn to read and then learn comprehension then read it again and perhaps your tiny mind will understand. Then you can come up with another excuse for inaction. As for tag partners very rarely do we post at the same time on the same subject, you and your mentor Grendel now thats a different matter.

They don't really need a PR machine tbf half the members of the trust are helping them out with that by the looks of Steve's post.

So Steve, if a big stadium were going on the cheap in, say, London, would you support our relocation there in the interests of the business?
