PAT ABEL launched Tickets for Schools. Over the last four years, 150 schools, 35 junior clubs and 23,000 children have taken part in the scheme which enables families to taste the football experience at an affordable price. She has been an active shareholder, and organiser of the Sky Blue Pool.
STEVE BARNETT has been a member of the SCG from its early days and one of the most vocal contributors. He has been a Coventry supporter for the last 38 years and a long-time season ticket holder. He has represented Covsupport News Service on a number of committees over the years.
JIM BROWN is the football club’s official historian and statistician. He has contributed to the match programme for over twenty years and writes weekly for the Coventry Telegraph. In 2006 he formed the Former Players Association (CCFPA) of which he is currently the chairman.
STEVE BROWN is chairman of the Sky Blue Trust. He has supported Coventry City home and away for many years and has been involved in a variety of local sports. He is ‘more than happy to raise any questions from any Coventry City supporters at SCG meetings’.
IAN DAVIDSON is a committee member of Coventry City London Supporters’ Club, producing its regular newsletters. He is secretary of Sky Blues International. “I feel strongly supporters from around the UK and overseas need a mechanism for questions and feedback, which the SCG provides.”
DARREN LEE DAVIES joined the SCG having organised a group of 400/500 supporters unhappy with the closure of Block 14 at the Ricoh Arena. He created an online group page as a ‘safe haven’ for those wishing to avoid abuse for attending Sixfields. It became known as ‘No-one Likes Us, We Don’t Care’.
MAJ. KEVIN HEFFERNAN is a member of the Vice-Presidents’ Club and a committee member of the Coventry City Supporters Club Irish Branch. He was chairman of the Jimmy Hill Tribute Appeal which provided for Jimmy Hill’s statue at the Ricoh Arena.
CHRIS McGRATH has been a passionate supporter of Coventry City for fifty years. She was invited to join the SCG by Paul Fletcher. She continues to speak up for female fans and is ‘more than happy to pass on any concerns and ideas to improve their match-day experience’.
JAN MOKRZYCKI is Press, PR and Events officer of the Sky Blue Trust. “I was a season ticket holder for 37 years firstly in the main stand at Highfield Road and then Block 20 at the Ricoh. Since the club’s move to Sixfields I have not attended a ‘home’ game but go to away games and have even watched matches from the ‘Hill’.”
KEVIN MONKS has been supporting the various teams playing under the Coventry City FC banner since 1969. He is involved with the Covsupport News Service. He was named NPower Football League Fan of the Year in 2011 and was awarded a medal for services to grassroots football at Buckingham Palace in 2013.
PAT RAYBOULD is involved with the Junior Sky Blues and leads a team of volunteers who run activities in the Family Zone before every weekend home game as well as an annual Christmas party. She was Npower Football League Fan of the Year for League One in 2013
MARK SORBIE has been a Coventry supporter for over fifty years. He is a paraplegic as a result of an accident in 1998. He consults the football club on matters relating to disabled supporters.
RAY STEPHENS is a committee member and membership registrar of the Diamond Club for those who have supported the Sky Blues for fifty years or more. Ray and his wife have been season ticket holders since 1965.
JONATHAN STRANGE, Chairman, was chairman of Coventry City London Supporters’ Club from 2002 until his resignation in 2013. On Joe Elliott’s initiative, he developed and established Sky Blues International. He has been a member of the SCG from the outset.
PETER WARD, Vice-Chairman, is the immediate past chairman of the SCG. “CCFC is a family affair and way of life.” As commercial director of a major international company, he offers a valuable insight from the local and global business community, whilst fulfilling an ambassadorial role in his worldwide professional role.

The Supporters Consultative Group meets monthly with the football club to consult over matters of mutual interest and concern. The members are representative of a variety of Coventry City supporters, supporters’ organisations and demographic groups.
The SCG is independently run by its members.
