Boro want Juke on loan (3 Viewers)

I do not think it will happen unless they have a loan striker lined up that knows where the back of the net is.

Yes done deal and Juke told me he is having sausage and chips on the way up as well! What a load of nonsense, I do not believe this for a second!

Would be willing to lay a bet he will not go to Boro tomorrow on loan. Juke strikes me as a player who gives his all even if unhappy, we have no options up front if he does go so in my opinion he will be starting Saturday....be amazed if this is not the case!

I'll be quite concerned if he goes as I think he'd link up very well with Cody Mac!

It really will represent a new low for us if he goes out on loan. Are we really that small a club? Or is IF true would it really be a case of SISU trying to run a Rolls Royce and Prius fuel bills?

I agree Pigeon, although I can kind of see Oy Jimmy's point too. It's sad that we should feel like that but I guess feeling so down about football issues is part of the CCFC fans curse. :(

^ sorry meant Oy Jimmy's first post regarding a little piece of me wanting it to be true to make people realise.

I'm guessing that if he does go out on loan they will contract to pay a transfer fee in January. I can therefore see why SISU would be HAPPY to let him go out on loan.

I simply can't believe it is true. We are not that stupid!

Or that's what I keep telling myself anyway.

Paxman, if you check back, I was implying that they may well have been trying to sell him so this 'resisting offers' was probably bull.

Check back and you will see this is what I was saying and suggesting.

...just thought I'd yank your chain Otis seeing how you must miss that on GMK. :claping hands:

I just wonder whether SISU have cleverly just delayed the Jutkiewicz deal to prevent any protests at the Derby game on Sky. I fear this deal will go ahead next week on loan with a view to a permanent deal possibly with one or two more. Hope I'm wrong!

What a great chance for sisu to be positive and rebuff all of this media speculation, but nowt from the AS's, is it any wonder so many are angry & dismayed at the way they are ripping the club apart.
So is it a case of sisu saying let's try & ride out this potential storm, or, are they lining up more 'tosh' to put out to us ?
Any news from them ? Err NO !
Despite their attempt at appeasement, they continue their hard nosed view of how to run a football club, no-one on the board with any football knowledge, what a shower of proverbial.
I hope CCFC are still around long after they have faded into the sunset,

Still can't believe this is true for a single second.

Why would Sisu put out the letter bragging about how they didn't sell Juke and then a few days later simply let him go out on loan? Plain daft. We should have just sold him if this is the case. That would make sense.

This doesn't.

post of the telegraph saying he isnt going anywqay, this move would never make sense to us anyway!!

And City boss Andy Thorn has dismissed Tony Mowbray’s latest attempt to get his first choice centre forward, insisting: “Why would we loan him out?

“If we were looking to get rid of him we would have sold him in the window, so it makes no sense to send him out on loan.

The story broke yesterday, the Smellygraph picked it up yesterday, this morning there is a direct quote from the manager stating he is not going out on loan and also the club stating they are not looking at letting anybody go out on loan... Personally I would prefer them to run the club rather than respond to every bit of transfer speculation.

This story will not go away as Sisu will be keen to do business if they can find cheaper cover.....

I wouldn't be surprised if he's still here and plays Saturday as they don't seem to want any protests. What odds on him picking up a mystery injury and not playing against Boro the week after and then making the move?

SISU must have it in mind to sell him as they're rufusing to comment on the story that they accepted an offer for him, if it wasn't true you'd expect them to be saying so. Looks like it could be just a matter of time before he's gone.

Hope I'm wrong but it's hard to belive anything that gets announced by our board so saying they have no intention of sending him out on loan doesn't make me confident he's staying.

Yeah, but that wouldn't work either, would it?
This thread is already 6 pages long - filled with speculations and allegations.
Now that rumor should at least be dead in the water .... for a while.

Really don't see any merit in the validity of this story - would make little sense financially as Juke wouldn't command a high loan fee and doubt his wages are significant enough to need to be got of the wage bill. I would see this more as a local paper dreaming up a story where there isn't one and maybe its a long process of destabilising the player but its a long way to go before January. Much as I dislike the way SISU run OUR club I fail to see how they would benefit from such a move - but we shall wait and see.

Haha everyone loves the Telegraph when it tells them what they want to hear and slate it as a rag when it gives bad news :claping hands:

And besides since when has Juke been elevated to a demi god. Good worker, good trier, hardly worrying the golden boot organisers though is he?

Again? :D

Still, people have the right to be concerned.

Concerned, yes. However slating somebody or the board based on a rumour is just a waste of everybody's time.

Nobody here is loving the telegraph, however it has a direct quote from our manager saying its not going to happen!

There are so many on here waiting to pounce on any negative news ready to have another go at SISU. They are maybe not the best people to have running the club, but turning us around was always going to be a hard job. We were in a very bad way from top to bottom when they took over. They have cut the wage bill right down, losing good players on the way. This had to be done to make us self sufficient. On the plus side most of the other teams in our division are now on the road that we have already taken. They will be going through the pain we have already had. Hopefully we have hit the bottom and are now on our way back up. A couple of good loans could put us in a position to compete and win games. We could have a good striker to put the ball in the back of the net. He has been signed by us. He is ours. He is not that old either. The odds are we would have more points than we have now if we had him at the start of the season. Each goal would have been worth points as we have only either lost by 1 goal or got a draw.

The negativity has stopped from most posters on here. The doubt has not gone away though. With a couple more good players joining and a run of good results things will change. We will get higher gates. This will bring more funds to the club. We will then be able to build the club even more. There will still be a few "SISU out" people on here, but we are all allowed an opinion. Some make more sense than others though. The SISU out bunch call everything that could go wrong. If they get 1 in 10 or less right then they keep on about "I told you so. SISU out" The optimists are looking for the good news. If they get 1 in 10 or less right about good news then all is fine for a bit. Jukey is not going to Middlesboro. One for the SISU out brigade to forget, one for the optimists to remember and say told you so.

We have a long way to go before we are where we should be, but at least we are on the right track. All we need now is a lot of faith and a bit of luck.

juke not sold to stay competitive, bollocks . do you honestly think juke would still be here if the parkin deal had gone through!

Macca

all I'm saying is newspapers, rumours, forums, its all bollocks in football until you see what actually happens. Can't see Boro pursuing it too much as I really don't think he is that proven as yet. Think he will be here all season.

As an aside when its comes to player movements direct quotes from managers are about as much use as tits on a fish

Why I did not put anything on here yesterday, as soon as any kind of window opens weather it be transfer or loan Jukes going, happens everytime without fail,
Sammy will be next in a couple of months but then something does need doing there, but thats a differant story.
I am sure I read on this thread people saying the club should be saying something to let the fans know whats happening and now they have some saying they can not come out and let us know every time theres a rumour? not sure if I am right on that one.:thinking about:

I think the Parkin deal fell through when we managed to get Cody to sign. He was the back up signing for if we failed to get him.

I take it you are part of the SISU out brigade  Would you want to put us into admin to get rid of them? If not they are who we have, and have nobody else willing to put in the cash needed to improve our squad.
